    Abstract: An illumination system is provided that supplies sufficient electric power to a light-emitting element. The illumination system includes: an elevation device that has a reel wire extending downwardly and that changes a length of the reel wire; and an illumination device that is connected to the reel wire and that is elevated by a change of the length of the reel wire. Electric power is supplied from a power supply through the reel wire to the illumination device. The illumination device includes: a battery for receiving the electric power supplied through the reel wire to store the electric power; and a light-emitting element for receiving the electric power supplied through the reel wire and the electric power supplied from the battery to emit light.

    Abstract: An anti-theft cable box includes a reel module, a conductive ring module, a coil spring module, an external connection module and an outer casing. The reel module includes an upper plate and a lower plate. A bottom surface of the upper plate is spaced from a top surface of the lower plate to form a cable groove between the upper plate and the lower plate. A cable is installed in the cable groove. The conductive ring module is disposed under the reel module, and the reel module is pivotally connected with the conductive ring module. The coil spring module is disposed under the conductive ring module. The external connection module includes an outer shell. The outer shell surrounds the coil spring module. The outer casing covers the reel module, the conductive ring module, the coil spring module and the external connection module.

    Abstract: A feed device for supplying electrical power and/or data to an electrical load, which is movable in at least one travel direction relative to the feed device, via cables. An electrical line cable carried along by the electrical load can be connected or is connected to the feed device, and to a power supply system for supplying the movable electrical load. The line cable can be output or retrieved from a reservoir, which is carried along by the load, in accordance with a distance between the reservoir and the feed device. The feed device has at least one connection part, which is rotatable about at least one pivot axis, for the line cable. This feed device, as well as a power supply system having such a feed device, provides protective guidance and storage of the line cable, reducing the risk of kinking or excessive bending of the line cable when moving the electrical load.

    Abstract: Example dynamically adjustable tether systems are described herein. An example tether system for use with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) may include a base and a vertically-oriented elongate structure having an adjustable height. For instance, the elongate structure may include a lower end, and an upper end. The elongate structure may also couple to the base proximate the lower end. The system may further include a tether that extends from a first coupling-point positioned proximate the upper end of the elongate structure to a second coupling-point positioned on the UAV and a computing system configured for performing a set of acts, such as detecting a change in height of the elongate structure, and causing the tether to be reconfigured within the tether system based on the detected change in height of the elongate structure.
