Abstract: An electrical for connecting an electronic package to a printed circuit board, includes a housing and a plurality of contacts therein. The contacts include grounding contacts and signal contacts mixed with each other. The housing includes an insulative plastic body and a conductive plastic body wherein the insulative plastic body includes a main plate and a plurality of columns extending downwardly from the main plate. Each column forms an insulative retaining passageway for receiving the signal contact. The conductive plastic body includes a block with two opposite top and bottom surfaces, and plurality of conductive retaining passageways for receiving the grounding contacts, and a plurality of receiving cavities for receiving the columns are commonly formed in the conductive plastic body in a mixed manner.

Abstract: An electric connector is provided to ensure reliable termination of cable wires having different sizes. The electric connector can include a housing, a plurality of contacts, and a wire holder. The wire holder includes a wire support extension configured to be at least partially inserted into the housing. The wire support extension defines a plurality of wire receiving passages configured to arrange a plurality of first wires thereon and align the first wires with contact insert slots of the housing, respectively, when the wire support extension is inserted to the housing. The wire holder further includes a plurality of wire support ribs configured to centralize second wires smaller than the first wires.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes a first terminal group, an insulation body, a conductive glue, and an insulation casing. The first terminal group includes grounding terminals and signal terminals. Each of the terminals in the first terminal group has a main portion. The insulation body is fixed to the main portion of each terminal of the first terminal group. The insulation body has openings exposing corresponding grounding terminals. The conductive glue fills the openings of the insulation body, and the conductive glue electrically connects the grounding terminals. The insulation casing includes a first side wall which includes first terminal slots. The first terminal group is disposed in the first terminal slots of the first side wall, and the conductive glue is sandwiched between the first side wall and the insulation body.

Abstract: An electrical connector for electrically connecting a chip module to a circuit board includes: a body, configured to upward support the chip module, where the body is provided with a plurality of accommodating holes; and multiple terminals, respectively accommodated in the accommodating holes correspondingly. Each of the terminals includes a flat plate portion along a vertical direction and a connecting portion connected to the flat plate portion. An elastic arm is formed by bending and extending from at least one end of the connecting portion so as to abut the chip module or the circuit board. When the chip module presses the terminal downward, a side edge of the elastic arm abuts the flat plate portion. The structure of an elastic arm can be simplified to reduce the processing difficulty thereof.

Abstract: A high speed, high density connector has an organizer between a mounting interface of the connector and a surface of a printed circuit board to which the connector is mounted. Contact tails of the connector may pass through the organizer. The organizer may have an insulative body. Portions of the organizer may be selectively made more conductive by plating on the body. Those plated portions may electrically connect contact tails of ground conductors passing through the organizer. The plated portions may be lossy or conductive.

Abstract: An electrical connector that includes a circuit board having a board substrate that has opposite board surfaces and a thickness measured along an orientation axis that extends between the opposite board surfaces. The circuit board has associated pairs of input and output terminals and signal traces that electrically connect the associated pairs of input and output terminals. The input and output terminals being configured to communicatively coupled to mating and cable conductors, respectively. Each associated pair of input and output terminals is electrically connected through a corresponding signal trace that has a conductive path extending along the board substrate between the corresponding input and output terminals. At least two signal traces form a broadside-coupling region in which the conductive paths of the at least two signal traces are stacked along the orientation axis and spaced apart through the thickness and extend parallel to each other for a crosstalk-reducing distance.
