摘要: A method and system for maintenance of network slice templates for slice orchestration is disclosed. The method includes extracting a plurality of parameters from a template data within a template request message and determining at least one network slice template from a plurality of templates, based on comparison of the plurality of parameters with parameters associated with the plurality of templates. The method further includes receiving performance feedback for each of the at least one network slice template based on usage of the at least one network slice template and determining modifications required to be performed on the at least one network slice template, based on the performance feedback. The method includes adapting the at least one network slice template based on the determined modifications.

摘要: A method of managing a configuration of a computer network system includes creating of an instance of a server by a user through an interface of a public cloud service. A management process detects the existence of the instance by regularly polling the cloud service for infrastructure data and analyzing the infrastructure data to determine that the newly created instance exists. The method also includes testing parameters of the server indicated in the infrastructure data, which parameters are fully determined by the request, against predefined one or more infrastructure policies, whereby the parameters are available and testable against the policies during the generating, but are tested after the request is enacted to create the instance without creating policy enforcement encumbrance on the user when the user creates the new instance of the server.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to measuring and managing data traffic in one or more networks. In some embodiments, a monitor may measure the traffic at one or more locations within the network(s) or devices associated therewith to determine whether the traffic exceeds a threshold. When the traffic exceeds the threshold, one or more actions may be taken, such as issuing or transmitting a command or directive. The command or directive may advise a device or an application to throttle or reduce an input or stimulus responsible for generating the traffic. In some embodiments, a throttling may be effectuated to reduce the data traffic.

摘要: Methods and systems for managing network resources enabling network services over a network and for managing maintenance of network resources. The method comprises determining a desired performance level for the network services, the desired performance level being associated with service metrics that establish compliance with a service level agreement; accessing internal data relating to operations of the network and external data not relating to operations of the network; generating a prediction of a network service pattern based on the desired performance level of the network services, the internal data and the external data; identifying a decision scenario for orchestration of the network resources, the decision scenario establishing a configuration of the network resources, the decision scenario being generated based on a correlation of the prediction of the network service pattern and availability of the network resources; and causing to adapt the network resources based on the decision scenario.

摘要: A system may receive an indication that a user device is connecting to a network and determine, based on a profile associated with the user device, that a priority associated with the user device is to be modified when congestion associated with the network reaches a level. The system may send, to a base station, a first request to monitor the congestion associated with the network. The system may receive, from the base station, an indication that the congestion associated with the network has reached the level. The system may send, to the base station, a second request to modify the priority associated with the user device when the congestion associated with the network is at the level.

摘要: This disclosure describes techniques that include adding information to a network service header in packets being processed by a set of compute nodes in a service chain. The information added to the network service header can be used during selection of the next hop in a service chain, and may be used to help ensure that service level agreements (SLA) are met with respect to one or more metrics. In one example, this disclosure describes a method that includes receiving, by a service complex having a plurality of service nodes, a packet associated with a service chain representing a series of services to be performed on the packet by one or more of the plurality of service nodes; identifying, by the service complex, one or more service chain constraints associated with the service chain; and modifying the packet, by the service complex, to include information about the service chain constraints.
