摘要: A method may include receiving a data flow of an application directed to the destination in a software-defined network (SDN). The method may also include identifying a classification of the application. The method may additionally include identifying a set of performance thresholds associated with the classification of the application. The method may also include determining a current performance of the data flow of the application in the SDN. The method may also include generating a performance score for the application based on the set of performance thresholds and the current performance of the data flow of the application in the SDN. The method may further include causing the performance score for the application to be presented via an interface.

摘要: A method and system for maintenance of network slice templates for slice orchestration is disclosed. The method includes extracting a plurality of parameters from a template data within a template request message and determining at least one network slice template from a plurality of templates, based on comparison of the plurality of parameters with parameters associated with the plurality of templates. The method further includes receiving performance feedback for each of the at least one network slice template based on usage of the at least one network slice template and determining modifications required to be performed on the at least one network slice template, based on the performance feedback. The method includes adapting the at least one network slice template based on the determined modifications.

摘要: A method of managing a configuration of a computer network system includes creating of an instance of a server by a user through an interface of a public cloud service. A management process detects the existence of the instance by regularly polling the cloud service for infrastructure data and analyzing the infrastructure data to determine that the newly created instance exists. The method also includes testing parameters of the server indicated in the infrastructure data, which parameters are fully determined by the request, against predefined one or more infrastructure policies, whereby the parameters are available and testable against the policies during the generating, but are tested after the request is enacted to create the instance without creating policy enforcement encumbrance on the user when the user creates the new instance of the server.

In some embodiments, a monitor may measure the traffic at one or more locations within the network(s) or devices associated therewith to determine whether the traffic exceeds a threshold. When the traffic exceeds the threshold, one or more actions may be taken, such as issuing or transmitting a command or directive. The command or directive may advise a device or an application to throttle or reduce an input or stimulus responsible for generating the traffic. In some embodiments, a throttling may be effectuated to reduce the data traffic.

摘要: In a slice-based network, slice multiplexers can be used to anchor inter-cloud tunnels across different clouds in a slice path. The slice multiplexers can dynamically change a total allocated bandwidth of an outer tunnel and reconfigure relative slice bandwidths of inner tunnels. This can result in an optimized bandwidth allocation that enforces slice priorities, maintains required SLA performance levels, and minimizes total allocated bandwidth on the network connection. The dynamic changes can be based on slice priority levels, total number of slices, and historical slice throughput.

In one embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a method that includes receiving a request from a first device to initiate a service instance associated with a service. The service instance is associated with application logic. The method further includes determining one or more parameters associated with the request, identifying at least a portion of the application logic to distribute to a mobile edge server based on the one or more parameters, and distributing the at least a portion of the application logic to the mobile edge server to cause the mobile edge server to provide the service instance to the first device.
