In a sleeved-garment pressing machine the underarm portion is pressed between a horizontally moveable part 4b and a fixed support part 4a whilst the shoulder portions are pressed by pressing heads 5, 6. The moveable portion 4b is operated through a foot control by a pneumatic piston and cylinder arrangement. The pressing heads are mechanically operated by foot pedals 15 through a bellcrank lever. Steam and air are applied to the pressing heads 5, 6 and the support portion 4 has a vacuum applied to draw off the steam and condensation.

摘要： A device for removing the wrinkles from the sleeve of a garment. A working surface defines a plurality of openings. Each of first and second sleeve holders are secured proximate an opening at a proximal end of each sleeve holder. First and second air bags are each configured to substantially surround a cooperating sleeve holder. Each sleeve holder and cooperating air bag is adapted to be received within a sleeve of the garment to extend the sleeve from the working surface. In one embodiment, a steam transfer device is configured to selectively transfer steam into each air bag and outwardly through each air bag to an interior surface of the sleeve. In another embodiment, a heated air transfer device is configured to selectively transfer heated air into each air bag and outwardly through each air bag to an interior surface of the sleeve.

摘要： Improved pressing machines for pants, in reference to FIG. 1B an upper portion pressing machine for pants. The framework (11) has a contour shape of the upper portion of a pair of pants, making it easier to drape the upper portion of the pants over the machine for pressing. In reference to FIG. 2B a pressing machine for pressing the inseams and out seams on the legs of a pair of pants. The pressing framework (42) is wider at the rear side and narrower at the opposite end, allowing relatively small and large pants to be pressed. In reference to FIG. 3C the pressing machine is to be used on creased pants. The framework plate (73) has an indention (74). The seams of a pair of pants are aligned with the indention, when the plate (73) is brought down, it will not touch the seams. The pants are left with no impressions or shiny marks. All three pressing machines have steam and vacuum valve connections and are manually operated, by stepping on the foot pedals.

摘要： A combined snow plowing and snow throwing vehicle includes an elongate plow blade at its forward end. The plow blade can be shifted to direct snow to either of the right or the left and includes separate snow throwing fans mounted, respectively, at the right and left ends of the plow blade. A user-actuable control system provides independent actuation of the snow throwing structures so that the snow throwing structure at the downstream end of the plow blade is actuated regardless of whether the plow is directing snow to the right or to the left. This enables the vehicle to plow and throw snow to either the right or to the left and further enables the vehicle to clear snow while traveling both up and down an airport runway.

摘要： Two-sided fusible tape is mounted in an effective manner upon the sleeve seam allowance of a garment comprising the steps of placing a jacket arranged inside out upon a heated stationary buck, the jacket being positioned on the buck so that the sleeve seam allowance is properly aligned. An exposed surface of a two-sided fusible strip is placed along the sleeve seam allowance, the other fusible surface being covered with a protective sheet. A vacuum communicating with the buck is drawn to retain the garment in the proper position. A pair of heated heads having pressing surfaces conforming to the shape of the buck are simultaneously driven toward the buck to press the fusible strip against the sleeve seam allowance of the garment, the heat from the buck and the heads activating the fusible. Steam may be ejected from the heads when the fusible employed requires steam for activation. The heads are withdrawn from the buck and the garment is removed in preparation for mounting a shoulder pad to the garment. A single drive assembly simultaneously moves the heads between their open and closed positions. Pivot arms supporting the heads are arranged in "criss-cross" fashion to minimize the space occupied by the drive mechanism and pivot arms, especially when in the open position. The heads substantially exactly conform to the contour of the buck and engage end to end without overlapping preventing distortion of the garment due to the application of the fusible.

There is a guide for the top form, by which guide the top form, without a substantial change in its spatial orientation, is moved, in a first stroke, out of an initial position obliquely downwards towards the operating side over the bottom form. The top form is then lowered onto the bottom form essentially at right angles, and, in a second stroke, is lifted off from the bottom form essentially at right angles and is then moved obliquely upwards away from the operating side into the initial position.
