摘要： The invention relates to a method for producing tissue with the aid of a weaving loom comprising a stop bar, at least one shed and a heddle for carrying out said method. The inventive method is characterized in that warp thread guiding a filling yarn cooperates with a longitudinal heddle connected to the filling yarn and is arranged between said filling yarn and the stop bar of the weaving loom. The warp thread passes through the filling yarn and a longitudinal heddle controlled by a Jacquard device which carries out normal yarn up-and-down movement (down-and-up). Two superposed wefts which are arranged below and under the shed are simultaneously inserted therein. In order to produce a visible section of the filling yarn above a tissue layer (pattern) during the descending (ascending) movement of the filling yarn, the longitudinal heddle is displaced in an ascending (descending) position by the Jacquard device in such a way that the longitudinal heddle provided with a corresponding eye whose lower (top) end is in the center of the shed (central position) prevents the warp thread guided by the filling yarn from moving downward (upward) beyond the shed center, and the lower (top) weft is located outside said shed is inserted.

摘要： A single-leg hook for a double lift open shed Jacquard machine with two sets of blades which are movable in opposite directions towards and away from each other by lift means, without crossing, a stationary set of arresting blades and a stationary hook rack, has first and second suspension projections which face in the same direction, and a support projection which points in the same direction. In one embodiment, the major, lower portion of the leg of the hook is rigid while the upper end portion is flexible, and the suspension projections are disposed at respective ends of a bar member fixed to the upper end of the hook. In another embodiment, the leg of the hook is rigid throughout and one of the suspension projections is arranged at its upper end, with the other suspension projection disposed on a resilient bar connected by an end region to the rigid leg.

摘要： A shedding device for a double-lift open-shed Jacquard loom which comprises a pair of vertically shiftable horizontal blades adapted to pass each other and cooperating with lifters which are provided with projection in opposite directions respectively engageable by the blades. The blades of each are provided with spaced apart lifter-engaging surfaces adapted to engage the respective projection upon upward movement but to deflect the lifter away upon downward movement past the projections. Between these spaced apart surfaces of the blades, the blades are incapable of engaging the lifters and the lifters can be shifted transversely to the blades to position them in line with an inclined engaging surface of the blade or in a region between such engaging surfaces.

摘要： The jacquard machine has a sensor which is movable vertically by the action of the draw knives to sense the position of the flexural element of the selector mechanism as well as a pivotally mounted lever which is pivoted by the draw knives after sensing. The lever is resiliently connected to a guide member which is secured to the lifting hook. The guide member is movable horizontally upon clockwise pivoting of the lever either against a lower surface of the sensor, if the flexural member is straight, or past this lower surface, if the flexural member is moved in a deflected position. The two positions of the guide member allows the lifting hook to engage one or the other of the draw knives.

摘要： A double lift dobby for dobby looms, jacquard looms and the like comprising a first and second double arm crank, each of which is rotatably journaled about independent axes spaced from and parallel to each other. One arm of each of the cranks is provided with latch means for selectively engaging a corresponding one of a driven pair of lifting knives. The cranks are thereby rotatable about their axes by and conjointly with the lifting knife after such engagement. The other arms of each of the cranks is interconnected with the means for raising and lowering the heald frame which comprises a lever connected at one end to the first of the cranks and at the other end to the means for lowering the heald frame and a tie rod connected at one end of the second of the cranks and at its other end between the ends of the lever.
