Abstract: A medical composition and devices made from the composition for the delivery of extracts obtained from Boswellia genus, similar compounds synthetically derived, and in particular derivatives of triterpenes is disclosed. The medical device may be implantable, or alternatively a device which contacts the interior of a mammalian body. The medical device may be comprised, of or present an absorbable component containing Boswellia derivatives, or an eluting component. When administered into a particular body site, the Boswellia component may be released substantially and immediately, released slowly, or not released, into the body and residing actively on the medical device surface.

Abstract: Provided is an aqueous resin composition that is capable of forming a film having excellent balance in solvent resistance, water resistance, flexibility, stretchability, and strength. An aqueous resin composition of the invention, contains: a composite resin (A); and an aqueous medium (B), in which the composite resin (A) has a polymer (A1) unit having a unit represented by Formula (1) and a polymer (A2) unit represented by Formula (3). [R1s each represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a phenyl group, or a methyl group. R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms. R7 represents a ml-valent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms. R8 represents one type of R10[-L1-(R11—O—)n1]n2—; —O(—R11—CO—O)n3—; —O(—R11—O—CO—R11—CO—O)n4—; —O(—R11—O—CO—O)n5—; —O(—R12)n6—O—; —O—R11—O—, and a group obtained by combining such groups.]

Abstract: The present application relates to a curable composition, a cured product and uses of the curable composition and the cured product. By comprising the curable compound having a certain structure, the present application can provide a curable composition which can increase cohesiveness of the cured product without increasing viscosity of the composition before curing, also minimize the increase of the elastic modulus, and also minimize the ratio of a nonreactive oligomer with an effect of improving the interfacial adhesion. The curable composition can be applied to a variety of optical applications and can be usefully used, for example, for bonding various optical functional members in a display device, for example, for directly bonding a touch panel and a display panel.

Abstract: Aqueous prepolymer dispersions are provided, as are methods for making aqueous prepolymer dispersions. For example, an aqueous polyurethane prepolymer dispersion may be prepared by a process. The process may include contacting a soybean oil polyester polyol and an isocyanate reactive monomer together in a first mixture. The isocyanate reactive monomer may be functionalized with a tertiary amine salt of an isocyanate-unreactive organic acid. The process may include contacting the first mixture with a diisocyanate to form a neutralized polyurethane prepolymer. The process may include contacting the neutralized polyurethane prepolymer with water to form the aqueous polyurethane prepolymer dispersion.
