    摘要: A mooring station and transfer terminal for offshore hydrocarbon production comprises a watertight caisson topped by a rotatable arm which supports a pipe for loading oil tankers. The caisson houses manifolds and a T F L (Through Flow Line) switching device connected to the different underwater producing wellheads. A T F L - servicing pipe supported by the rotatable arm and connected to the switching device through a rotary coupling at the top of the caisson permits introduction of T F L tools or instruments from the water surface into a selected well through the switching device.

    摘要: Apparatus for connecting a tanker to a marine tower comprising apparatus for mooring the tanker to the tower and apparatus for connecting a supply conduit on the tower to a receiver conduit on the tanker. A hose-pipe section is normally stored on the tanker at least in part on a rotary pulley located on the tanker in a manner such that one of the ends of the hose-pipe has connected to it a first connecting element which opens upwardly on the tanker deck. A boom on the tower capable of freely pivoting about the axis of the latter has attached to its free end a second connecting element adapted to cooperate with the first connecting element. A rope passes vertically through the second connecting element whose free end is attachable to the first connecting element to move the first connecting element towards or away from said second connecting element which remains substantially stationary.

    摘要: A vapor recovery system especially useful for collecting the evolved vapors from crude oil or other volatile liquids being transferred between floating tankers and a storage container. A generally U-shaped frame is pivotably mounted to a support at each end of the frame. The frame carries a pair of conduit members having a plurality of openings distributed along the length thereof. Flexible hoses are connected between each of the openings in the conduit members and a corresponding vent in the tankers. A winch and cable arrangement is used to lower the frame into operating position and to raise the frame into a stowed position at the end of a loading period. The ends of the conduit members are each connected to a vapor storage container through a swivel joint.

    摘要: Apparatus includes an offshore platform riser subtended by a joint chamber having port means for receiving a subsea pipeline and access means for a submersible capsule. The riser and chamber are attached to the platform in such manner as to provide for thermal expansion and to permit detachment when an abnormal loading is encountered. Platform winch means attached to cable means passing through the riser and chamber are used to pull an end of the pipeline into the chamber. Personnel utilizing the capsule then enter the chamber for completing the joining of the pipeline and riser. The joining and subsequent inspection operations are conducted at substantially atmospheric conditions in the chamber.

    摘要: A coupling between a floating conduit and a mooring buoy that carries a pipe end with a clamp for receiving and holding the mouth of the floating conduit, comprises a cardan joint on the pipe end of the mooring buoy. The cardan joint has a cardan ring that supports a buoyant crosshead for vertical swinging movement about a horizontal axis. The crosshead has a remote control operating mechanism so that when the floating conduit is brought close to the pipe end for coupling thereto, the crosshead can be swung downward against its buoyancy to permit horizontal movement of the floating conduit. Then when the floating conduit is in position, the crosshead can be permitted to float up to cradle the floating conduit; and clamps on the crosshead can then be secured to the floating conduit.
