    摘要: Improvements in a combustion engine performance and reduced temperature of the combustion engine therefore resulting in an increase in the brake thermal efficiency where the pistons move linearly within the combustion cylinder. A pair of one-way clutches is used to convert the reciprocating linear motion into rotary motion without a crank shaft and without friction or power loss in the engine. High pressure oil is used to intercool the piston and the cylinder walls and is used for lubricating the piston ring. This configuration will improve the engine efficiency and reduce emission and result in a low cost engine.

    摘要: A two stroke engine having a variable inlet port timing device in conjunction with a piston port controlled timing apparatus for filling the top of transfer passages, that connect the crankcase chamber to the combustion chamber of the engine, with buffer gas such as exhaust gas or secondary air for the reduction of pollutants, improvement of performance, and delivery ratio of an internal combustion two-stroke engine and the like. Piston port controlled timing is provided by buffer air passages having a movable portion with inlet and outlet ports disposed through the piston. In another embodiment piston controlled selective exhaust gas recirculation is provided and a rotary valve in the exhaust gas recirculation passage is fitted to improve the performance of the engine. The pressure in the crankcase may be controlled by a rotary valve comprises a pair of rotary disc plates.

    摘要: A variable volume transfer duct for maintaining an optimum volume of buffer gas in the transfer duct of a two-stroke engine during operation in order to minimize short circuit loss of fresh charge at all load levels during engine operation. The variable volume transfer duct that has two pieces, a top and a bottom duct wherein the bottom duct is aligned with and slidably disposed within the upper duct. Control means are provided for raising and lowering of the bottom duct to vary the transfer duct volume accordingly. A control means controls recirculates exhaust gas, or the secondary air, as buffer gas that fills the top of the transfer passage and regulates the buffer gas according to engine load conditions such that it provides a larger amount at higher loads and a lesser quantity at lighter loads.
