摘要: The conveyor system (11) is used for transferring rows or large cycles (66) of sheet stacks (12) from the stacking station (20) of a paper converting machine, e.g. a small format cross-cutter to several parallel-running discharge conveyor belts (24, 25). For this purpose grippers or tongs (48) are provided, which are guided on gripper supports (39) and which can draw the stacks (12) from stacking station (20) via conveyor belts (24, 25). For each stacking position (21) there are two grippers (48, 48a), which in each case alternatively grip and transfer a stack, whilst the other gripper performs the return movement and passes into its waiting position upstream of the stacking station.

摘要: A system method and apparatus for separating and transporting a collection of stacked objects from a stack. A depalletizing apparatus includes a suction device assembly, a probing tongue, a lifting blade, and an optional compression arm. The suction device assembly applies a suction force to the side of the stacked objects and lifts a portion of the stacked objects thereby reducing the weight on the edge of the stack. A probing tongue inserted at or below the suction device assembly into the stack aids the insertion of a lifting blade into the stack. A compression arm may be utilized to provide a downward force on the stacked objects to aid in providing stability during movement of the collection by the lifting blade.

摘要: An improved container includes a base and wall panels which cooperate with the base to form compartments for holding the stacks of sheet material. The wall panels are held against movement relative to each other and the base by slidably interlocking surfaces on the base and wall panels and a single strap which extends around the base and wall panels. The strap extends through passages formed in upper end portions of the wall panels. In addition, the strap extends through a passage formed in the base. Two end wall panels and a center wall panel are formed with bottom flanges which are engaged by the stacks of sheet material. The base is formed with lift element receiving channels. A plurality of wheels are provided on the base to support the container.

摘要: An automatic supply and loading device for container blanks such as gable top containers including storage magazines for storing therein the blanks in a flat collapsed form at a location away from the main magazines from which the blanks are individually transferred to later processes in a liquid food charging machine. A robot with a pair of grasping claws is provided between the main magazines and the storage magazines so that the robot carries the blanks between the magazines and loads and unloads the blanks in and from the magazines. The main magazines can be inclined at the same angle as the angle of inclination of the robot for securing smooth loading and unloading of the blanks.

摘要: Two vertically displaceable slides (5, 9) carry in horizontally movable fashion a tabletop (1) and, respectively, a gripper with an upper gripper jaw (6) and a gripper base (7). The gripper base (7) contains a horizontally displaceable blade (12) and supporting elements (24, 25) which are horizontally displaceable and also vertically movable with respect to the blade (12). A Stack of sheets is set up in front of the tabletop (1). The slides (5, 9) are lowered until the upper gripper jaw (6) rests on the sheet stack. The blade (12), previously retracted into the gripper base (7), is then made to pierce the stack of sheets at an exactly settable distance below the upper gripper jaw (6). The slides (5, 9) are slightly elevated in order to form a gap in the sheet stack with the blade (12). The supporting elements (24, 25) are pushed into the gap below the blade (12), and are then urged upwardly past the level of the blade (12) so that they alone bear the weight of the sheets resting thereon. Upon further elevation of the slides (5, 9) until the tabletop (1) can be introduced into the gap, the blade (12) thus cannot damage the sheets.

摘要: A gripping device for transporting a stack of flexible sheets includes two substantially horizontally spaced, parallel tines arranged for supporting the stack; and a counterelement supported above the tines in alignment with the spacing therebetween. The counterelement has a horizontal dimension in a direction parallel to the spacing between the two tines. A horizontal dimension is smaller than the spacing between the two tines. A device moves the counterelement substantially vertically towards or away from the tines. When an unstabilized stack of flexible sheets is received on the two tines and the counterelement is moved towards the two tines for gripping and stabilizing the stack therebetween, the counterelement and the two tines produce a curvilinear bending in the stack about a horizontal axis oriented parallel to the two tines when the counterelement is moved past an initial plane containing a top layer of the unstabilized stack.

摘要: An arrangement for handling and guiding a bundle of sheets in and between stacking and binding stations in which the sheets are stacked and bound respectively. The arrangement includes an arm displaceable from a pressing position in which the arm engages an uppermost sheet in the bundle in the stacking station to form a pressed bundle, to a removed position in which the arm is disengaged from the uppermost sheet. The pressed bundle is moved through the stacking station and conveyed from the stacking station to the binding station while the arm is maintained in the pressing position to prevent sheet disarrangement during such passage. In the binding station, the arm is displaced to the removed position to form a released bundle which is compressed prior to binding in the binding station. A guard engages uppermost sheets in the bundle in the binding station during displacement of the arm to the removed position to prevent sheet disarrangement.

摘要: Apparatus for clamping and transferring to another location stacks of bags or other products of varying sizes. The apparatus preferably includes sets of clamping jaws for grasping the stacks of bags. The jaws are designed for movement in more than one direction in substantially the same plane so that mechanisms for delivering and receiving bags can be used even if the bags from one stack vary in size from that in the next stack. Each set of clamping jaws supports as well as clamps each stack of bags, a lower support jaw being extended to a sufficient length to provide such support. The device can also accommodate bags or other products of varying wall thicknesses.
