摘要： A portable ramp and load support assembly including a pair of rigid, elongated, first and second ramp components hinged together at adjoining ends by a simple pivot pin. The apparatus is made of light-weight, injection molded plastic material, and is provided with a resilient, non-slip surface on its upper side. The ground-engaging end and vehicle-engaging end are also specially configured to prevent slippage and dislodgment during use. The assembly also includes a plurality of accessory parts including disconnectable legs for allowing the ramp apparatus to be used as a grooming table, examination table, game-cleaning table, etc., and floats, wheels, pull handles and other accessories that can be attached to extend the utility of the apparatus.

摘要： A vehicle cargo bed has reconfigurable drop side and tail panels. Tail lights are incorporated within the reconfigurable panels. Each side panel is hinged with respect to the cargo bed so that the side panel can pivot downwardly to a cargo bed widening horizontal position or upwardly to a vertical or horizontal position spaced from the cargo bed. The cargo bed includes a storage box accessible through the side entrance. The side panel may also be hinged with respect to itself to form a lip or small restraining wall.

The wheelchair ramp assembly includes a frame attachable to a vehicle having a floor, a platform coupled to a portion of the frame, a ramp having a weight, and a reciprocating mechanism disposed between the ramp and the platform coupled to a portion of the frame, a ramp having a weight, and a reciprocating mechanism disposed between the ramp and the platform for reciprocating the ramp between a deployed position and a stowed position in response to a force. The reciprocating mechanism counterbalancing the weight of the ramp during actuation of the ramp between the deployed and stowed positions to reduce the force required to reciprocate the ramp between the deployed and stowed positions.

摘要： An elongated anchor rail is installed on the edge of a tailgate for retaining a tailgate accessory to the tailgate. The anchor rail has a flange portion with a flat surface partly covering an inside surface of the tailgate. The flange portion has longitudinal inside and outside edges. The anchor rail also has a channel portion projecting at right angle from the flange portion. The channel portion is at a distance from the outside edge, and forms with the flange portion a recessed seat adjacent to and along the outside edge. The channel portion further has a T-slot in the recessed seat facing toward the outside edge. When a tailgate accessory is mounted to the T-slot of the anchor rail, it is partly or completely included in the recessed seat. The tailgate accessories comprised in the tailgate attachment set include a pair of ramp ends and a number of lugs and hooks.

摘要： A foldable ramp apparatus. The ramp apparatus comprises a first and second ramp member. The first ramp includes a channel insert, and the second ramp includes an arcuate insert. The arcuate insert is configured to pivotally engage the channel insert. The arcuate insert has a curved apex that is adapted to be received within an elongated channel of the channel insert. A slotted segment is formed on a pair of legs that extends from the arcuate insert. A corresponding slotted segment formed on a pair of legs that extends from the channel insert. A cross-member is placed within the slotted segment interconnecting the pair of legs. In the preferred embodiment, the ramp apparatus further comprises a first lip formed on the arcuate portion and configured to engage an underside of the first leg and the second leg of the first ramp as well as the slotted segment. A second lip may be formed on the grooved portion and configured to engage an underside of the first leg and the second leg of the second ramp. Additionally, a first ledge is formed on the arcuate insert and a second ledge is formed on the channel insert, with the first and second ledge being operatively inserted into the slotted segment to attach the legs to the arcuate and channel insert.

The ramp can be used to load small sized wheeled vehicles, including occupied wheelchairs, into the interior of the vehicle. The ramp and cargo system is carried outside the vehicle and does not decrease the interior space of the vehicle. The ramp and cargo system can optionally serve as a deck attached to the rear of the vehicle to provide additional cargo space. This external deck can be expanded and partially enclosed with two platform pieces and sidewalls. The ramp and cargo system is inexpensive, light-weight, easy to install and remove, and easy to deploy as a ramp.
