摘要： An apparatus for deep-frying food, including a window (22) of a transparent material which takes up at least a portion of a cover (5; 105; 205) and which extends at least partially at an angle or vertically. A vapor discharge channel (6) communicates with the inner space (3) of the pan. A cooling surface (7) is provided for cooling vapor, which cooling surface communicates with the inner space (3) via the vapor discharge channel (6). A storage reservoir (13) is used for storing condensate that has precipitated on the cooling surface (7), and a collecting gutter (21; 121; 221) serves for collecting condensate that has precipitated on the window (22). The collecting gutter (21; 121; 221) extends along a bottom end of the window (22) and includes a drain (30; 130), via which drain the collecting gutter (21; 121; 221) communicates also with the vapor discharge channel (6) for draining condensate to the vapor discharge channel (6). Furthermore, a provision for signalling deep-frying activity in response to heating by hot vapor is described.

摘要： A domestic deep fat fryer comprising, in a housing (1), a vessel (2) adapted to contain a cooking bath (3). An electric heating resistance (4) heats the cooking bath. A thermal regulator (6) of high thermal inertia is mounted in series with the heating resistance and operates over a predetermined range of switching temperature. The fryer moreover comprises a thermostatic safety switch (8) mounted in series with the electric heating resistance and operating at a fixed switching temperature higher than the maximum temperature of the temperature range of the thermal regulator (6). This thermostatic safety switch has a thermal inertia less than that of the regulator (6) so as to detect abnormally rapid temperature increases and to cut off the electrical supply in such case to the electric heating resistance.

The electrical fryer further includes: a knob mechanism comprising a knob presenting an oil filtering position and at least one heating position; an oil filtering control mechanism connected between the knob mechanism and the oil filter; a temperature control mechanism comprising a switch assembly being drivingly connected with the knob mechanism; wherein, the knob is turned so as to switch between the oil filtering position and said at least one heating position, and when the knob is turned to the oil filtering position, the knob mechanism drives the oil filtering control mechanism to open the oil filter and the knob mechanism controls the switch assembly to switch it off so that the electrical heater is not energized, and when the knob is turned to said at least one heating position, the knob mechanism controls the switch assembly to switch it on so that the electrical heater heats the inner pot.
