摘要: A security system is described for managing a premises. The security system comprises security system components and a first controller. A takeover component receives security data of the security system from the first controller. The security data is used to configure a second controller to communicate with the security system. The second controller communicates with the security system components and replaces the first controller in management of the security system.

摘要: Systems, methods, and devices for routing data in a network are described. A user device may send a request for video data that has been captured by a premises device. A computing device at the premises may receive the request and determine a capability of the user device. Based on the capability of the user device, the computing device may select a protocol from a plurality of protocols with which the video data is to be transmitted to the user device. Based on determining that the video data cannot be transmitted via the computing device, the video data may be transmitted from the premises device to the user device via the determined protocol.

摘要: An integrated security system is described comprising a gateway located at a first location. The gateway includes a takeover component that establishes a coupling with a first controller of a security system installed at the first location. The security system includes security system components coupled to the first controller. The takeover component automatically extracts security data of the security system from the first controller. The gateway automatically transfers the security data extracted from the controller to a second controller. The second controller is coupled to the security system components and replaces the first controller.

摘要: A system and methods comprise a touchscreen at a premises. The touchscreen includes a processor coupled to a security system at the premises. User interfaces are presented via the touchscreen. The user interfaces include a security interface that provides control of functions of the security system and access to data collected by the security system, and a network interface that provides access to network devices. A camera at the premises is coupled to the touchscreen via a plurality of interfaces. A security server at a remote location is coupled to the touchscreen via a plurality of channels and a plurality of protocols. The security server comprises a client interface through which remote client devices exchange data with the touchscreen and the security system.

摘要: An integrated security system that includes a security coprocessor coupled to a conventional security system panel and an interactive security system. The integrated security system enables conventional security system features as well as the consumer-oriented interactive features and functions of an interactive security system without sacrificing reliability or the significant burden and cost associated with frequent software updates associated with conventional security systems. The integrated security system also minimizes or eliminates the need for new battery backup circuitry or larger batteries.
