Abstract: Provided herein is a method of manufacturing a substrate for a display device, the method including: preparing a supporting substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; patterning a blocking film on the first surface of the supporting substrate; forming a substrate layer on the supporting substrate to cover the blocking film; removing at least a portion of the substrate layer to space the blocking film apart from the substrate layer by a predetermined distance; and separating the substrate layer from the supporting substrate.

Abstract: An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a stretchable substrate, a thin film transistor (TFT) formed over the stretchable substrate and including a plurality of electrodes, an OLED electrically connected to the TFT and including a plurality of electrodes, and a plurality of interconnection lines connected to the electrodes of the OLED and the TFT. At least one of the interconnection lines is configured to move in a stretching direction and rotate an electrode selected from the electrodes of the OLED and the TFT connected to the at least one interconnection line.

Abstract: A stretchable display is disclosed. In one aspect, the stretchable display includes a plurality of pixel substrates arranged in a matrix having row and column directions. Each of the pixel substrates includes an island and a flexible hinge connecting the island to at least one of the adjacent pixel substrates. The island of each of the pixel substrates includes a plurality of first sides and a plurality of second sides. The flexible hinge of each of the pixel substrates includes a plurality of first flexible sub-hinges respectively extending from the first sides in the row direction and a plurality of second flexible sub-hinges respectively extending from the second sides in the column direction.
