    Abstract: A positioning signal processing method at a user equipment includes: operating the user equipment in a discontinuous reception mode including time interleaved ON times of the discontinuous reception mode, during which the user equipment is in an active mode monitoring for a positioning signal measurement trigger signal, and OFF times of the discontinuous reception mode, during which the user equipment is in an inactive mode; receiving a wake-up signal at the user equipment; and determining, at the user equipment, whether to measure a positioning signal based on whether the wake-up signal indicates to implement the active mode during a scheduled discontinuous reception mode ON time or to skip the scheduled discontinuous reception mode ON time.

    Abstract: Frequency-dependent changes in beam shapes of transmitted RF signals can be provided to a receiving device. Beam shape information can include, for example, gain of a beam and a plurality of azimuth and elevation directions, boresight and width of a main lobe (and optionally side lobes) of the beam, information regarding a pattern of antenna elements of an antenna panel used to transmit the beam, and/or similar information. The type of information provided can dictate the amount of overhead required, and we therefore vary depending on the means by which the information is conveyed. Additional detail is provided in the embodiments described herein.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to beam management procedures in wireless communications systems. Some implementations of the present disclosure more specifically provide techniques for reporting measurements for proposed beams (such as beams predicted to be the best beams for communications to and from a UE and a network entity) and other beams detected by the UE. The techniques may be used, for example, to identify mismatches between a proposed set of beams and actual best beams for communications to and from a UE and a network entity and allow for the retraining of machine learning models used to identify the proposed set of beams for communications to and from a UE and a network entity.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a UE determines old and new pathloss vectors that track old and new pathloss values on an element-specific basis. For a respective element, the UE selectively triggers a PHR based upon respective old and new pathloss values for that element. In another aspect, the UE determines whether differential pathloss value between two respective pathloss values associated with two pathloss measurement attempts for an element is unavailable or (if available) is higher than a threshold value, and the UE selectively triggers a PHR for the element based on the determination.
