In an advanced mode, any of a variety of aspects of the SL interface used in communication between the UE and anchor UE may be used as a reference for UL-PRS.

Abstract: A positioning signal processing method at a user equipment includes: operating the user equipment in a discontinuous reception mode including time interleaved ON times of the discontinuous reception mode, during which the user equipment is in an active mode monitoring for a positioning signal measurement trigger signal, and OFF times of the discontinuous reception mode, during which the user equipment is in an inactive mode; receiving a wake-up signal at the user equipment; and determining, at the user equipment, whether to measure a positioning signal based on whether the wake-up signal indicates to implement the active mode during a scheduled discontinuous reception mode ON time or to skip the scheduled discontinuous reception mode ON time.

Abstract: Frequency-dependent changes in beam shapes of transmitted RF signals can be provided to a receiving device. Beam shape information can include, for example, gain of a beam and a plurality of azimuth and elevation directions, boresight and width of a main lobe (and optionally side lobes) of the beam, information regarding a pattern of antenna elements of an antenna panel used to transmit the beam, and/or similar information. The type of information provided can dictate the amount of overhead required, and we therefore vary depending on the means by which the information is conveyed. Additional detail is provided in the embodiments described herein.

For a respective element, the UE selectively triggers a PHR based upon respective old and new pathloss values for that element. Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) may include receiving a message requesting estimated channel characteristics of a secondary band based on measuring characteristics of a channel in the primary band. The method also includes measuring characteristics of the channel in the primary band. The method estimates channel characteristics of the secondary band based on the primary band characteristics measurements. The estimating may occur without measuring signals in the secondary band. Further, the method may report the estimated channel characteristics of the secondary band and receive an indication of a secondary cell group, based on the estimated channel characteristics of the secondary band.
