    Abstract: Full-duplex communication techniques are described. Some aspects may utilize full-duplex-slot formats, such as may be provided in addition to or in the alternative to uplink, downlink, and flexible slot formats. A full-duplex slot implemented in accordance with a full-duplex-slot format provides a slot in which the frequency band may be used for both uplink and downlink transmissions. Downlink and/or uplink transmissions of a full-duplex slot may occur in overlapping frequency bands or in adjacent frequency bands. A first wireless device may transmit slot signaling comprising one or more full-duplex-slot-indicator parameters. A second wireless device may base one or more full-duplex slot configuration determinations on a full-duplex-slot configuration. The second wireless device may apply one or more full-duplex-slot-indicator-parameter rules with respect to full-duplex-slot-indicator parameters for determining a full-duplex-slot format. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may be configured to generate a preamble of a first message associated with a random access channel (RACH) procedure, such as a two-step RACH procedure. The UE may be further configured to determine an identifier (ID) associated with the UE based on at least one of an ID associated with the preamble or a port index associated with a demodulation reference signal (DMRS). The UE may generate a payload of the first message that indicates the ID associated with the UE. The UE may then transmit the first message to a base station to initiate the RACH procedure. Potentially, the UE may receive a second message from the base station responsive to the first message, and the second message may confirm the ID associated with the UE.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates to a relay node, and a method of wireless communications by the relay node, including attempting to decode a plurality of first transport block portions of a transport block, wherein the plurality of first transport block portions are received on a first link according to a first encoding configuration. The aspects further include encoding successfully decoded ones of the plurality of first transport block portions according to a second encoding configuration to define one or more second transport block portions corresponding to the transport block, wherein the second encoding configuration is different from the first encoding configuration.     Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel state information (CSI) for multiple transmission reception point (multi-TRP) transmission such as non-coherent joint transmission (NCJT), including determining subband sizes for CSI and rules for Part II CSI omission. A method that can be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a CSI report configuration. The CSI report configuration associated with one or more CSI reference signal (RS) resources, each CSI resource including a set of ports or port groups. The UE selects one or more CSI-RS resources for which to report CSI and determines a subband size for sending a CSI report based, at least in part, on payload of the CSI report. In an example method, the UE can determine whether the UE has sufficient resources for the CSI report and omit at least a portion of the CSI based on the determination.
