Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining and using channel ratio metrics for beamformed communication. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes selecting a first beam of a plurality of beams for determining one or more channel ratio metrics, determining the one or more channel ratio metrics for the first beam, wherein determining the one or more channel ratio metrics is based, at least in part, on an angular separation between the first beam and one or more neighboring beams of the plurality of beams, and transmitting signaling via the first beam based on the one or more channel ratio metrics.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications that support inter-user equipment (UE) coordination (IUC) for beamformed communications are described. A first UE may receive, using a first spatial filter, a first sidelink control message including a first sidelink resource reservation associated with a second UE. Additionally, or alternatively, the first UE may receive, using a second spatial filter, a second sidelink control message including a second sidelink resource reservation associated with a third UE. The first UE may transmit, to the second UE or the third UE, an IUC message that indicates a conflict between the first sidelink resource reservation and the second sidelink resource reservation. The IUC message that indicates a conflict may be based on a relationship between the first spatial filter used to receive the first sidelink resource reservation and the second spatial filter used to receive the second sidelink resource reservation.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for wireless communication. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling identifying, for multiple beams, a set of quantized values for beam measurement reporting. The UE may receive a set of reference signals and each reference signal may be associated with a beam of the multiple beams. The UE may transmit a report indicating a set of power values that are based on the set of quantized values and the set of reference signals. Each power value of the set of power values may be associated with a respective beam of the multiple beams. The control signaling may also indicate a set of rules for vector-based beam management reporting for the multiple beams. The report may include a vector report and may indicate the set of power values based on the set of rules and the set of reference signals.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. One or more user equipments (UEs) may support reserved resource indications for sidelink systems. In some examples, a first UE may transmit a first sidelink control message to at least a second UE in a first transmission time interval (TTI), which may schedule a first set of time-frequency resources for a sidelink message. The first UE may transmit the sidelink message to the second UE using the first set of time frequency resources. After transmitting the sidelink message, the first UE may transmit a second sidelink control message to the second UE in a second TTI, which may indicate the first set of time-frequency resources used for transmission of the sidelink message. In some examples, the second UE may perform a decoding procedure for the sidelink message based on the second sidelink control message.

A relay node may receive, from a source node, control signaling configuring the relay node to receive a transport block via a first air interface and to forward the transport block to a target node via a second air interface that is different than the first air interface. In some cases, each of the first air interface and the second air interface may support a same size transport block. The relay node may receive, from the source node via the first air interface, a first message including the transport block in a format of the first air interface based on the control signaling. The relay node may transmit, via the second air interface to the target node, a second message including the transport block and an indication that the transport block is in the format of the first air interface.

In some aspects, a user equipment may identify a failure associated with a machine learning prediction for one or more network parameters; report, to a base station, failure information regarding the failure associated with the machine learning prediction; receive, from the base station, response information identifying an alteration to a communication configuration as a response to the failure associated with the machine learning prediction; and implement the alteration to the communication configuration based at least in part on receiving the response information. A communication device (e.g., network entity, multiple user equipments (UEs)) may determine a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) configuration for multiple UEs. The multiple UEs may receive a PTRS signal and data communication intended for the multiple UEs based on the determined PTRS configuration. In some examples, the multiple UEs may be known to the network entity as a group of UEs and the network entity may determine the PTRS configuration based on a condition of the group of UEs, a condition of each UE of the group of UEs, or both. Abstract: Base stations of neighbor cells can coordinate with each other in allocating grant-free uplink (GUL) resources for a device-to-device (D2D) connection or channel between user equipments (UEs) across the neighbor cells. The base stations coordinate to determine a condition conducive to D2D communication between the UEs. If the condition exists, the base stations coordinate to allocate network resources for D2D communication between the UEs, and establish a D2D connection between the UEs using the allocated network resources for D2D communication.
