Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform determining, by a network node, that at least one of frequency tuning, bandwidth part switching, or bandwidth switching is to be performed by at least one user equipment; and based on the determining, sending, by the network node, to the at least one user equipment one or more downlink slots, wherein the one or more downlink slots provide an indication of a time to perform the at least one of frequency toning, bandwidth part switching, or bandwidth switching by the at least one user equipment. Further, in accordance with another example embodiment of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform receiving from a network node, by a user equipment, one or more downlink slots, wherein the one or more downlink slots comprises at least one of an uplink grant, a downlink assignment, and wherein the one or more downlink slots provide an indication of a time to perform at least one of a frequency tuning, bandwidth part switching, and bandwidth switching by at least one user equipment; based on the one or more downlink slots, performing, by the user equipment, the at least one of frequency tuning, bandwidth part switching, or bandwidth switching, and transmitting, by the user equipment, at least one uplink channel or a signal via a radio frequency chain based on the at least one of frequency tuning, bandwidth part switching, or bandwidth switching.

Abstract: In accordance with example embodiments of the invention there is at least a method and apparatus to perform receiving, by a network device, information comprising a multiple transmission time interval uplink grant with cyclic redundancy check bits scrambled by a radio network temporary identifier; determining, by the network device of a communication network, a subset of data transmissions of a previous burst of data transmissions to be retransmitted by the network device; and performing by the network device retransmission of the subset of data transmissions using scheduled resources of the uplink grant. In addition, to perform determining, by a network node of a communication network, information comprising a multiple transmission time interval uplink grant with cyclic redundancy check bits scrambled by a radio network temporary identifier to identify a subset of data transmissions of a previous burst of data transmissions to be retransmitted by a network device; and sending the information towards the network device for use in retransmission of the subset of data transmissions using scheduled resources of the uplink grant.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for aperiodic channel state information (CSI) reporting for enhanced carrier aggregation are provided. One method includes transmitting, by a network node, a configuration of at least two aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) reporting modes per one or more configured downlink (DL) component carriers (CC) to at least one user equipment. The method may also include transmitting an aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) trigger to the at least one user equipment. The transmitting of the A-CSI trigger may cause the at least one user equipment to dynamically switch between the two configured aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) reporting modes.

Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment of the present invention, a method, comprising receiving, by a user equipment, information for configuration with Grant-less Uplink Physical Uplink Shared Channel (GUL PUSCH) resources; attempting to transmit, by the user equipment, Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback on at least one resources; performing a channel access procedure for transmitting Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) on the GUL PUSCH resources in response to a determination that the attempting to transmit the HARQ feedback on the at least one resources is unsuccessful; and transmitting HARQ-ACK on the GUL PUSCH resources in response to successfully completing the channel access procedure, is disclosed.

One method may include configuring a user equipment with a maximum number of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) layers used for transmission mode 9 or transmission mode 10 scheduling, and performing, by a network node, at least one of transmission mode 9 or transmission mode 10 scheduling. The configuring may include indicating to the user equipment to use a modified mapping table providing transmit diversity fallback for the at least one of transmission mode 9 or transmission mode 10 scheduling.
