    Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed, configured to receive, from first and second spatial audio capture apparatuses, respective first and second composite audio signals comprising components derived from one or more sound sources in a capture space. The apparatus is further configured to identify a position of a user device corresponding to one of first and second areas respectively associated with the positions of the first and second spatial audio capture apparatuses, and to render audio representing the one or more sound sources to the user device, the rendering being performed differently dependent on, for the spatial audio capture apparatus associated with the identified first or second area, whether or not individual audio signals from each of the one or more sound sources can be successfully separated from its composite signal.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, methods, and computer programs enable spatial audio rendering that allows for six degrees of freedom of movement of a listener. The spatial audio comprises higher order ambisonic signals. An apparatus includes circuitry for generating audio signal content sets that provide spatial audio scenes; determining positions in which the spatial audio scenes are audible; and associating a subset of audio signal content sets with the determined positions such that a first subset of audio signal content sets is associated with a first position and a second subset of audio signal content sets is associated with a second position. When audio signal content is provided for rendering, the first subset of audio signal content sets is retrieved if the listener is at the first position and if the listener is at the second position the second subset of audio signal content sets is retrieved.

    Abstract: An apparatus configured to: receive a spatial media file comprising a plurality of viewpoints; determine a viewpoint from the plurality of viewpoints for a user consuming the spatial media file; receive an audio stream associated with the viewpoint; receive an augmentation audio stream, wherein the augmentation audio stream is at least partially different from the audio stream; control an audio rendering of the audio stream based, at least partially, on metadata associated with the augmentation audio stream; and provide the audio rendering of the audio stream for mixing with a rendering of the augmentation audio stream.
