    Abstract: According to an aspect, there is provided a terminal device comprising means for performing the following. The terminal device transmits a tethering request for setting up a tethering cell over at least one communications network to at least one tethering terminal device capable of setting up a tethering cell. Then, the terminal device performs tethering cell discovery for discovering tethering cells set up by any of said at least one tethering terminal device. In response to discovering a tethering cell provided by a tethering terminal device of said at least one tethering terminal device, the terminal device accesses the tethering cell.

A method comprises receiving, by a user equipment from a network node of a communication network, information comprising a given physical uplink control channel resource instance allocated to the user equipment, wherein the physical uplink control channel resource instance is allocated to more than one user equipment including the user equipment; signaling the network node using an allocated physical uplink control channel resource instance in a given sub-frame; and, receiving polling form the network node, wherein the polling comprises an uplink grant.

    Abstract: This document discloses a solution for assisting transmissions in a wireless network. According to an aspect, a method comprises: monitoring, by a wireless device, a radio resource for a data packet transmitted by a source device to a sink device and capturing the data packet from the radio resource; decoding the data packet by the wireless device; determining, by the wireless device, that the sink device failed in decoding the data packet and that the wireless device is an assisting transmitter for retransmission of the data packet; and upon said determining, determining by the wireless device a radio resource for the retransmission and performing the retransmission of the data packet in the determined radio resource and together with the source device.

    Abstract: A technique includes receiving, by a user device, a plurality of semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations, each SPS configuration including an SPS identifier and an interval for each of the plurality of SPS configurations; receiving, by the user device, an SPS activation corresponding to each of the plurality of SPS configurations, each SPS activation indicating a set of resources and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) to be used for transmission of data for the corresponding SPS configuration; determining, by the user device, that a collision will occur for the plurality of SPS configurations during a transmission time interval (TTI); selecting a MCS corresponding to one of the plurality of SPS configurations that have been determined to collide during the TTI; and transmitting, by the user device during the TTI, data using the selected MCS via an aggregated set of SPS resources that includes at least a portion of each of the sets of resources for the plurality of SPS configurations that have been determined to collide during the TTI.
