Abstract: A service cart adapted to be moved along an aisle is provided, the service cart comprising a body defining an upper portion, a lower portion and two opposed lateral portions respectively disposed between the upper and the bottom portions, the portions being interconnected with intervening curved portions to form a continuous wall thereof and at least one longitudinal opening; wheels attached to a lower portion of the body for supporting the body; and a closing device for substantially closing the longitudinal opening. A method of manufacturing a service cart and a service cart kit are also provided.

Abstract: A resilient strut adapted to secure an aerodynamic skirt to a trailer is provided, the aerodynamic skirt comprising a skirt panel including a front portion and a rear portion adapted to be substantially longitudinally mounted to the trailer, the skirt panel being adapted to move away from the aerodynamic configuration when contacting a foreign object and to recover its aerodynamic configuration thereafter, the resilient strut includes a shape variation adapted to change the mechanical strength thereof and also adapted to sustain an elastic deformation allowing the resilient strut to bend when a load is applied to the resilient strut when the skirt panel moves away from the aerodynamic configuration and to self-recover its original shape when the load is removed. A kit of resilient struts, a method thereof and a trailer equipped with same are also provided.

Abstract: Is hereby provided a method of securing a plastic part to a composite structure, the method comprising providing a composite structure, performing at least one hole in the composite structure, providing a plastic part including a surface and at least one pin extending therefrom, the at least one pin being sized and designed to mate with the at least one hole to create a clamping force capable of temporarily securing the plastic part to the composite structure, applying bonding material between the surface and the composite structure to bond the surface to the composite structure, engaging the at least one pin with the corresponding at least one hole and adding pressure to engage the at least one pin with the corresponding at least one hole and spreading the bonding material between the plastic part and the composite structure, and curing the bonding material to permanently secure the additional part to the composite structure. A plastic part adapted to be secured to a composite structure with pins thereof and a composite materials galley cart comprising parts secured thereof with pins are also hereby provided.
