The method includes receiving a first monitoring request containing first information related to monitoring configuration and deletion from a Service Capability Server/Application Server (SCS/AS), transmitting, to a Home Subscriber Server (HSS), a second monitoring request containing second information related to monitoring configuration and deletion, the second information being generated based on information related to the monitoring configuration and deletion, wherein the second monitoring request contains information indicating whether the second monitoring request is a request for deletion of all the monitoring configuration of a subscriber.
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present specification provides a method of attempting network access by user equipment (UE). The method comprises the steps of: acquiring, from an upper layer, information related to an application attempting network access when an application specific congestion control for data communication (ACDC) is configured; determining an ACDC category on the basis of the acquired information related to an application; and performing an ACDC test on the basis of the determined ACDC category, wherein a network access trial can be barred or allowed for each application according to the ACDC test.
Abstract:
The present disclosure presents a method of providing information by a subscriber information server for machine type communication (MTC) monitoring. The method may include: receiving information on a monitoring related timer for any MTC device from an MTC related server; adjusting one of the monitoring related timer and a periodic access or location update related timer based on the other timer when there is information on the periodic access or location update related timer for the MTC device; and transmitting information on the adjusted timer to the MTC related server or a monitoring node.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for supporting a proximity service (ProSe) of a first network entity in a wireless communication system. More particularly, the present invention comprises the steps of: a first network entity receiving a request for location information related to a first terminal; transmitting a paging message to the first terminal when the first terminal is in an idle state; receiving a first response message corresponding to the paging message; and transmitting a second response message corresponding to a service request on the basis of the first response message.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system is disclosed. More particularly, access network selection scheme in a wireless communication system are disclosed. A method for selecting an access network by a user equipment (UE) may comprise: determining whether at least one cellular access network is overloaded; determining whether at least one wireless local area network (WLAN) access network is overloaded; determining priorities for the at least one cellular access network and at least one WLAN access network; and selecting one access network among the at least one WLAN access network based on information for access network selection, if the at least one WLAN access network is determined to have a higher priority than the at least one cellular access network, and if each the at least one cellular access network is determined to be overloaded and each of the at least one WLAN access network is determined to be overloaded.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of controlling a session in a serving server taking charge of the control plane within a mobile communication network. The control method may include receiving, by the serving server, a tracking area update (TAU) request message of a terminal from a target base station; retrieving, by the serving server, a previous server that has taken charge of the control plane for the terminal; receiving, by the serving server and from the retrieved previous server, a context response message comprising information indicating that a session for the terminal had been established to be passed through a path over the nodes within a fixed network different from a mobile communication network; deciding, by the serving server, whether gateway relocation is needed; releasing, by the serving server, the established session; transmitting, by the serving server, an accept message comprising information for the processing result to the terminal through the target base station; and establishing, by the serving server a session passing through a path over the nodes within a fixed network different from a mobile communication network based on the information.
Abstract:
Provided are a network registration method for traffic transmission and a device supporting same. A user equipment (UE) performs a first registration procedure over a first non-3rd generation partnership project (non-3GPP) connection, and transmits a registration request message of a second registration procedure to an access and mobility management function (AMF) over a second non-3GPP connection. The registration request message includes: (i) information about connection switching from the first non-3GPP connection to the second non-3GPP connection; and (ii) information about a multi-access (MA) protocol data unit (PDU) session related to the connection switching. Upon receiving the information, the AMF transmits information about the connection switching from the first non-3GPP connection to the second non-3GPP connection to a session management function (SMF).
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method for providing a multi-modality service by a base station. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving quality of service (QoS) control information from an SMF, wherein the QoS control information includes priority information about a QoS of a first UE and priority information about a QoS of a second UE, and the priority for the QoS of the first UE is higher than the priority for the QoS of the second UE; determining to perform QoS control due to lack of resources; and lowering the QoS of the second UE on the basis of the QoS control information, wherein the QoS of the first UE is maintained on the basis of lowering the QoS of the second UE.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present disclosure provides a method of providing wireless communication by a session management function (SMF). The method comprises the steps of: receiving a protocol data unit (PDU) session establishment request message from a user equipment (UE), wherein the PDU session establishment request message comprises information indicating that the UE supports a user plane connection establishment request for UE data collection; in response to the PDU session establishment request message, transmitting a PDU session establishment approval message to the UE; receiving, from a network node, a message for making a request so that the UE establishes a user plane connection for UE data collection; and transmitting, to the UE, the user plane connection establishment request message for the UE data collection.
Abstract:
Provided in one embodiment of the present specification is a method by which an NG-RAN node performs communication related to a multicast. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving, from an AMF, a UE context release command message related to a first UE; determining that the first UE moves from a 5GS to an EPS, on the basis of the reception of the UE context release command message; and removing, from a context related to a multicast session, information related to the first UE.
