The method includes: determining, by a first wireless network node, a function configuration policy that is used by the first wireless network node and a second wireless network node to perform wireless network function configuration; and sending, by the first wireless network node and to the second wireless network node, function configuration information corresponding to the second part of wireless network functions, wherein the function configuration information is used by the second wireless network node to complete function configuration of the second wireless network node.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method. In the method, a first node receives a first radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message from a first donor node through a second node. After the first node receives the first RRC reconfiguration message from the second node, the first node receives first indication information from the second node. When the first node determines, based on the first indication information, that the first RRC reconfiguration message becomes effective, the first node establishes an RRC connection to a second donor node based on the first RRC reconfiguration message. In the method, the first node and the second node are nodes in a group that performs group handover, the group handover is a cross-donor node group handover, the second node is a head node or the second node is connected to a head node, and the second node is a parent node of the first node.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application relates to a communication method and a related device. In an example, a device receives a first data packet in a first network segment, the first data packet comprises a first backhaul adaptation protocol (BAP) routing identity, and the first BAP routing identity is used for transmission of the first data packet in the first network segment. The device further obtains a first correspondence. In response to determining that the first correspondence comprises the first BAP routing identity in the first data packet, the device determines that the first data packet meets a preset condition. In response to that the first data packet meets the preset condition, the device replaces the first BAP routing identity in the first data packet with a second BAP routing identity according to the first correspondence, to obtain a second data packet.

Abstract: A communication method includes a first IAB node receives a first message from a CU of an IAB donor, where the first message indicates the first IAB node to be handed over from a first parent node to a second parent node, and the first message includes a first IP address of the first IAB node. The first IAB node determines first transport network layer association information between the first IAB node and the CU of the IAB donor based on the first IP address. The first IAB node updates control plane context information of an F1 interface by using the first transport network layer association information, where the F1 interface is an interface between the first IAB node and CU of the IAB donor. An IAB node communicates with a CU of an IAB donor by using a first IP address as soon as possible after handover is completed.

Abstract: A wireless backhaul method, including: a wireless backhaul device generates a first F1AP message, maps the first F1AP message to a signaling-plane bearer of an LTE Uu interface, and sends the first F1AP message to a primary base station of the wireless backhaul device via the signaling-plane bearer of the LTE Uu interface. The primary base station obtains the first F1AP message via the signaling-plane bearer of the LTE Uu interface, encapsulates the first F1AP message into a first X2AP message, and sends the first X2AP message to a secondary base station of the wireless backhaul device. The secondary base station receives the first X2AP message and obtains the first F1AP message based on the first X2AP message.

Abstract: Data transmission methods and apparatuses for wireless backhaul networks are described. A wireless backhaul node determines one or more reporting nodes for a data volume of a first-type data packet from a plurality of next-hop nodes of the wireless backhaul node on an uplink based on the data volume of the first-type data packet, a data volume of a second-type data packet, and a data volume of a third-type data packet. The wireless backhaul node sends, to the one or more reporting nodes, a buffer status report used to indicate the data volume of the first-type data packet. At least one of the first-type data packet, the second-type data packet, and the third-type data packet includes a data packet from an adaptation layer entity of the wireless backhaul node and/or a data packet from a radio link control layer entity of the wireless backhaul node.

The first access network device determines a third uplink carrier used by a terminal to send a preamble to the first access network device, and sends an addition request acknowledgement message to the second access network device. The addition request acknowledgement message includes carrier indication information. The carrier indication information indicates the third uplink carrier. The third uplink carrier is at least one of the first uplink carrier or a second uplink carrier. The second uplink carrier and the first uplink carrier belong to a same cell of the first access network device and the second uplink carrier is a supplementary uplink carrier.
