    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to communication methods and apparatuses. In one example method, a receiving device receives a first demodulation reference signal (DMRS) from a first DMRS port by using a first time-frequency resource, and receives a second DMRS from a second DMRS port by using a second time-frequency resource. The first time-frequency resource is a part of time-frequency resources in the second time-frequency resource, and an orthogonal cover code (OCC) of the first DMRS is orthogonal to an OCC corresponding to the first time-frequency resource in an OCC of the second DMRS.

    Abstract: A communication method includes sending indication information to a terminal device. The indication information indicates a first demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port and a code division multiplexing (CDM) group in which the first DMRS port is located. The communication method further includes receiving in a first group and a second group of REs associated with the CDM group, a first DMRS through the first DMRS port. A first orthogonal cover code (OCC) for transmitting the first DMRS in the first group of REs through the first DMRS port is different from a second OCC for transmitting the first DMRS in the second group of REs. The first second group of REs being located in a same resource block (RB), located on a same subcarrier, and located in different symbols in a same slot; or located in different RBs, and being located in a same symbol in the same slot.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method between multi-link devices and an apparatus, and relate to the field of communications technologies, to reduce power consumption of a station multi-link device. A specific solution is as follows: A multi-link device includes a plurality of STAs, one STA operates on one of a plurality of links, and the STA determines a primary link in the plurality of links.     Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a channel sounding method and apparatus, and relate to the communication field. The method includes: A station STA receives channel sounding frames sent by a plurality of access points APs; the STA performs channel sounding based on the channel sounding frames to obtain channel state information of each AP; and the STA sends a channel measurement report frame, where the channel measurement report frame includes channel state information of some of the plurality of APs and identifiers of the some APs, and the channel measurement report frame is further used to indicate that the some APs are selected to participate in coordinated transmission. That the channel measurement report frame is used to indicate that an AP is selected to participate in coordinated transmission can not only feedback channel state information but also reduce signaling overheads.
