Abstract: The present disclosure relates to beam configuration methods and apparatus. One example method include receiving, by a terminal, beam configuration information from a network device, where the beam configuration information is used to instruct the terminal to transmit a signal by using a first beam, and transmitting, by the terminal, the signal by using at least the first beam when a first preset duration starting from a time point expires, where the first time point is a time point at which the terminal sends an acknowledgement (ACK) message for the beam configuration information to the network device.

Abstract: A communication operation carried out by a base station is described herein. The operation includes generating first indication information. The first indication information indicates configuration information of a first resource. The operation further includes generating second indication information. The second indication information indicates a relationship between a second resource and the first resource to a terminal. The operation further includes sending the first indication information and the second indication information, so that the terminal determines its own receiving resource or sending resource. When the base station indicates the receiving resource or the sending resource of the terminal resource indication overheads can be reduced.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes example downlink signal sending methods, downlink signal receiving methods, and devices. In one example method a transmit end device indicates position information of at least one of a first signal or a second signal in time domain based on a position relationship between the first signal and the second signal in at least one of frequency domain or time domain. The transmit end device can then send a frame including the first signal and the second signal. In embodiments of the present invention, position information of a synchronization signal in time domain can be indicated, and sending of a single-symbol synchronization signal is also supported.

A network node sends reference signals by mapping the reference signals to at least one resource unit, where the at least one resource unit includes a plurality of sub-resource units; and the network node receives, from the terminal, measurement information related to part of the plurality of sub-resource units. Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a non-coherent data transmission method and a communication apparatus. In the method, a transmit end device determines, in a first constellation, a first constellation point corresponding to first to-be-modulated bits, where the first constellation point corresponds to P first symbols, P=M*N, M is a positive integer, and N is an integer greater than 1; and sends the P first symbols on N resource units by using M antenna ports, or sends P second symbols determined based on the P first symbols, and foregoes sending demodulation reference signals of the P first symbols or the P second symbols. In the method, a constellation is designed, and each constellation point in the constellation corresponds to a plurality of resource units so that data can be transmitted with no need to transmit a reference signal, and only the data needs to be transmitted.
