Abstract: This application provides a channel measurement configuration method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, a measurement configuration, where the measurement configuration includes a plurality of resource settings, and the plurality of resource settings include a plurality of resource settings for channel measurement and a plurality of resource settings for interference measurement; receiving, by the terminal device, channel state information reference signals CSI-RSs on resources configured in the plurality of resource settings; and generating, by the terminal device, a CSI group based on the CSI-RSs, where the CSI group includes one or more pieces of CSI. In embodiments of this application, a plurality of resource settings for channel measurement and a plurality of resource settings for interference measurement are associated in one report setting.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for downlink control information (DCI) detection are provided. In one aspect, a DCI detection method includes: receiving a configuration parameter that is used to configure at least one or more groups of candidate resources, each of the one or more groups of candidate resources carrying one piece of DCI, and in response to determining that one corresponding piece of DCI is blindly detected from one of the one or more groups of candidate resources, stopping the blind detection on the one of the one or more groups of candidate resources.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: transmitting indication information indicating a data distribution manner selected from a first data distribution manner and a second data distribution manner; performing data transmission with a terminal device according to the data distribution manner indicated by the indication information; wherein the data distribution manner indicating a distribution of modulation symbols of a code block (CB) on one or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols of at least one resource unit, the one or more OFDM symbols are consecutive in time-domain; and wherein modulation symbols distributed on a same OFDM symbol of the one or more OFDM symbols are interleaved in frequency-domain according to the first data distribution manner and are not interleaved in the frequency-domain according to the second data distribution manner.

Abstract: A radio access node (RAN) and method of operation of the RAN are provided. The RAN includes a massive multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) antenna array. The RAN includes a processing hardware configured to carry out a communication method that includes receiving a digital data stream for transmission on a time-frequency resource. The RAN precodes the digital data stream using a digital beamforming stage to render a precoded digital downlink data stream for downlink data stream signal transmission to a user equipment. The digital beamforming stage includes a first precoding stage configured according to a long-term matrix, and a second precoding stage configured according to a short-term matrix. The RAN is further configured to generate a downlink data stream transmission signal to the user equipment in accordance with the precoded digital downlink data stream.
