Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for transmitting or receiving uplink feedback information in a communication system. An operation method of a terminal may comprise receiving downlink control information (DCI) from a base station, the DCI including resource allocation information of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH); receiving data # n from the base station through the PDSCH indicated by the DCI; generating a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook including an HARQ response bit # n for the data # n and an HARQ response bit # n−1 for data # n−1 received from the base station before the data # n; and transmitting the HARQ codebook to the base station. Therefore, the performance of the communication system can be improved.
Abstract:
An operation method of a UE in a communication system includes receiving, from a base station, a security mode command message including information requesting reporting of capability information and security configuration information; identifying the security configuration information included in the security mode command message; and transmitting, to the base station, a security mode complete message including the capability information requested by the security mode command message.
Abstract:
An operation method of a base station belonging to an access network includes performing a first connection establishment procedure with a linking node belonging to the Xhaul network; performing a second connection establishment procedure with a management node supporting a mobility function and belonging to the core network when the first connection establishment procedure between the base station and the linking node is completed; configuring integrated radio resources used commonly in the access network and the Xhaul network when the second connection establishment procedure between the base station and the management node is completed; and configuring a first allowable resource to be used for the access network within the integrated radio resources.
Abstract:
A beam management method, performed by a terminal in a communication system, includes receiving a control message including at least one parameter used for beam management from a first base station; performing a monitoring operation on a first beam configured between the first base station and the terminal based on the at least one parameter; detecting a beam problem in the first beam based on the monitoring operation; and in response to determination that the beam problem is detected in the first beam, performing a recovery operation on the first beam.
Abstract:
A base station infers a random access failure rate depending on a random access collision of terminals performing random access and controls a random access opportunity of a terminal that fails the random access by using the random access failure rate of each terminal. Also, information for the controlled random access opportunity is transmitted to the terminal that fails the random access.
Abstract:
Disclosed are channel management methods in a multicarrier structure in a mobile communication system. Uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) channel management methods in a carrier aggregation environment are used as the channel management methods. In DL, a base station determines a component carrier (CC) of an unstable radio channel state, stops data retransmission by the CC, and notifies a terminal of retransmission stop. In UL, the base station determines a CC of an unstable radio channel state and instructs the terminal to stop data retransmission by the CC, and the terminal stops the data retransmission and initializes a retransmission buffer. Using the channel management methods in the mobile communication system employing the multicarrier structure, an increase in the number of unnecessary retransmissions is prevented, so that unnecessary retransmission and power consumption of the terminal can be reduced and the waste of radio resources and the degradation of base station performance due to unnecessary retransmission can be prevented.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for performing handover in a cellular mobile communication system that supports a carrier aggregation, and a user equipment and a node base (NodeB) using the method. A connection between the user equipment and the NodeB may be maintained and information may be exchanged using a plurality of serving carriers. Before performing the handover, the user equipment may perform measurement with respect to a neighboring NodeB supporting the carrier aggregation, and may provide parameter information to the NodeB in order to support a carrier aggregation function required for the handover. In a handover seamless environment, the continuity of a service may be provided and the performance of the service may be enhanced.
Abstract:
A method for converting source data to a channel-modulated signal having a plurality of pairs of in-phase (I) and quadrature-phase (Q) data in a mobile station, wherein the mobile station uses at least one channel, includes the steps of: a) encoding the source data to generate at least one data part and a control part; b) generating at least one spreading code to be allocated to the channel, wherein each spreading code is selected on the basis of a data rate of the data part and the control part and spreading codes are selected so that two consecutive pairs of the I and Q data are correspondent to two points located on same point or symmetrical with respect to a zero point on a phase domain; and c) spreading the control part and the data part by using the spreading code, to thereby generate the channel-modulated signal.
Abstract:
A method of a base station may comprise: transmitting discontinuous transmission (DTX) configuration information for a DTX operation to a terminal; transmitting discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration information for a DRX operation to the terminal; and transmitting information indicating activation of at least one of the DTX operation and the DRX operation to the terminal, wherein the DTX operation and the DRX operation are configured separately.
