    摘要: A method of measuring the efficacy of an anticancer agent in generating abasic (AP) sites in DNA of cancer cells of a subject includes administering to the subject an anticancer agent that generates AP sites in at least one cancer cell and an AP endonuclease inhibitor probe. The AP endonuclease inhibitor probe includes a detection moiety for detecting the probe in the subject. The amount of probe bound to cancer cells of the subject is then measured. The amount of probe bound to cancer cells of the subject is indicative of efficacy of the anticancer agent in generating AP sites in cancer cells of the subject.

    摘要: In one embodiment, a method of performing a merge operation can include: mapping a business process modeling notation (BPMN) model to a business process execution language (BPEL) model; modifying the BPMN model to form a modified BPMN model; modifying the BPEL model to form a modified BPEL model; when the merge operation is a forward merge operation: exporting the modified BPMN model to an exported BPEL model; performing an activity level outline merge for added information technology (IT) scopes and branches from the modified BPEL model; performing an activity level detail merge for added IT details from the modified BPEL model; and performing an attribute level merge for updated branch conditions in the merged BPEL model; and when the merge operation is a reverse merge operation, adding scopes and branches from the modified BPEL model to the BPMN model.

    摘要: A system and method for pacing rate control in a cardiac rhythm management (CRM) system. The method includes acquiring a pressure signal representative of coronary venous pressure (CVP) from a pressure sensor implanted within a coronary vein of the patient and generating a CVP waveform from the pressure signal. A pacing stimulus is applied to the patient's heart, and the pacing rate is increased in response to increases in patient's metabolic demand. The CVP index is monitored during the pacing rate increase, and the CRM system detects a reduction in the patient's hemodynamic performance based on the CVP index and establishes a maximum rate setting based on the pacing rate corresponding to the reduction in the patient's hemodynamic performance.
