Abstract: A substrate and a display panel are disclosed. The substrate is divided into a display area and a peripheral area surrounding the display area. A plurality of pixel units are provided in the display area. The substrate includes a plurality of selectively-light-transmissive units, and each of the plurality of pixel units is provided therein with a corresponding selectively-light-transmissive unit.
