Abstract: Devices and methods of providing channel occupancy time (COT) are described. After a gNB acquires an unlicensed channel for a COT, the gNB indicates the COT length to a UE using a PDCCH having a DCI formed in accordance with DCI format 2_0. The slot format of the last slot of the COT is indicated using a reserved slot format indicator that is reserved to indicate the end of the COT. The reserved slot format indicator indicates a last slot format of available slot formats of DCI format 2_0. Dummy bits fill the DCI after the reserved slot format indicator. Alternatively, to indicate the COT length, a COT field dedicated to providing the COT is used in the DCI or the CRC is masked using a slot format indication Radio Network Temporary Identifier.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems are provided for signalling transmissions using carriers of different numerologies. In one example, a baseband processor of a base station is configured to perform operations including encoding a first signal to be transmitted on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) on a first component carrier with a first subcarrier spacing. The first signal includes downlink control information (DCI) indicating resources for a second signal to be transmitted on a second component carrier with a second subcarrier spacing. Respective numerologies of the first component carrier and the second component carrier are different from one another in accordance with the first subcarrier spacing and the second subcarrier spacing. The baseband processor is configured to cause transmission of the first signal on the PDCCH.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may assess a radio link quality of a plurality of frames for communication, via the interface to the RF circuitry, with a radio access network (RAN) node. When the radio link quality of a frame, of the plurality of frames, is below an out-of-sync (OOS) threshold, the UE may indicate that the frame is OOS. When the radio link quality of a frame, of the plurality of frames, is above an in-sync (IS) threshold that the frame is IS. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may process information, received from the RAN node indicating a partial subframe, of a subframe, to be used to transmit uplink control information (UCI) to the RAN node. The UE ma also perform UCI mapping for using of the partial subframe to transmit UCI via a physical uplink control channel (PUSCH), and proceed by using the partial subframe to communicate the UCI to the RAN node.

Abstract: Beamforming measurement techniques based on PSS/SSS are disclosed. An apparatus of a user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry configured to decode a configuration message from a source serving cell, the configuration message indicating signal selection criteria for cell measurement reporting. A synchronization signal (SS) burst set associated with one or more transmission/reception points (TRPs) within a neighboring cell is decoded, the SS burst set including a plurality of SS blocks. A cell beamforming measurement signal associated with the neighboring cell is generated, based on signal measurements of the SS blocks and the signal selection criteria. A radio resource management (RRM) measurement report message is encoded for transmission to the serving cell, the measurement report message including the cell beamforming measurement signal. A handover command message for initiating a handover to the neighboring cell is decoded, the handover command based on the cell beamforming measurement signal.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are disclosed for determining Precoding Resource Block Groups (PRGs). In one example, a processor of a base station (BS) is configured to determine a plurality of PRGs that includes a number N consecutive Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) over which a same precoder assignment is used, starting from a reference PRB. The plurality PRGs include a first boundary PRG, a second boundary PRG, and one or more other PRGs. The first boundary PRG is located at an upper boundary of a bandwidth part. The first boundary PRG comprises fewer than N PRBs when the upper boundary of the bandwidth part is not aligned with a PRG boundary. The second boundary PRG comprises fewer than N PRBs when a lower boundary of the bandwidth part is not aligned with a PRG boundary. A downlink data channel is transmitted to a UE in accordance with the precoder assignments.
