    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to connect to a primary cell serving a primary component carrier (PCC) in the licensed spectrum and a secondary cell serving a secondary component carrier (SCC) in an unlicensed spectrum. The UE is configured with a Connected Discontinuous Reception (C-DRX) functionality including an onDuration. The UE determines a first duration based on an amount of time between when a first operation related to an exchange of data over the SCC is to be performed and when the exchange of data over the SCC is likely to occur, determines whether the exchange of data over the SCC is likely to occur during the onDuration based on the first duration and when the exchange of data is unlikely to occur during the onDuration, delays when the first operation is to be performed to cause the exchange of data over the SCC to occur during the onDuration.

    Abstract: A method and device for scheduling SR transmissions for a user equipment (UE) associated with an evolved Node B (eNB) of a Long Term Evolution (LTE) network. The method includes determining an SR is to be transmitted to the LTE network, determining an uplink grant behavior of the eNB, when the uplink grant behavior of the eNB indicates that previous uplink grants satisfy a threshold of previous grants occurring in onDurations of the cycle of a C-DRX functionality, selecting one of the at least one SR opportunity that follows a next onDuration relative to when the indication is received and scheduling the SR in the one of the at least one SR opportunity that follows the next onDuration. The method further including determining an uplink grant turnaround time associated with the eNB, and selecting one of the at least one SR opportunity based on the uplink grant turnaround time.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device to perform simultaneous uplink activity for multiple RATs in the same carrier using frequency division multiplexing. The wireless device may establish a first wireless link with a first base station according to a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second wireless link with a second base station according to a second RAT. The first base station may provide a first cell operating in a first system bandwidth and the second base station may provide a second cell operating in a second system bandwidth. The wireless device may determine whether the wireless device has uplink activity scheduled according to both the first RAT and the second RAT. If so, the wireless device may perform uplink activity for both the first RAT and the second RAT in the first system bandwidth using frequency division multiplexing.
