Abstract: A posture estimating section acquires image data in which images of a person are recorded, to estimate a posture of the person. A motion control section controls the motion of a robot device on the basis of an estimation result of the posture estimating section. A synchronization control section synchronizes a posture of the robot device with the posture of the person estimated by the posture estimating section. A correction processing section corrects the synchronized motion of the robot device made by the synchronization control section.

Abstract: A method for generating a character for use in a video game is provided, including: receiving captured video of a user; analyzing the captured video to identify movements of the user; using the identified movements of the user to define one or more animations of a character; receiving descriptive input generated by the user; determining game-specific constraints for the character in the video game; using the descriptive input and the game-specific constraints to prompt a generative artificial intelligence (AI) to generate visual elements of the character; using the character for gameplay of a video game, wherein using the character includes rendering the character having the generated visual elements and triggering the animations during the gameplay.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing gameplay assistance are described. One of the methods includes monitoring gameplay of a user of a game. The monitoring occurs to identify interactive skills of gameplay by the user during a session of the game. The method further includes determining that the interactive skills of gameplay have fallen below a threshold level for progressing the game and initiating gameplay assistance responsive to the interactive skills falling below the threshold level. The gameplay assistance includes a blended bifurcation of user inputs to complete one or more interactive tasks of the game. The blended bifurcation of user inputs include an amount of assistance inputs that override selected ones of the user inputs. The amount of assistance inputs vary over time during the gameplay of the game to maintain the interactive skills of the gameplay above the threshold level of interactive skills for playing the game.

Abstract: A moving image distribution server 12 transfers, by streaming, data of a plurality of moving images representing the same space. A moving image reproduction apparatus 10 separates audio data from any one of the moving images and outputs the audio data after a predetermined period of delay. The moving image reproduction apparatus 10 also separates image data from another moving image and outputs the image data in synchronization with audio. When a user performs an image switching operation, the moving image reproduction apparatus 10 acquires data of a moving image that has been switched from another moving image, separates image data therefrom, and starts outputting the image data given the same PTS as the audio data continuously being output.

Abstract: Systems and methods for audio processing are described. An audio processing system receives audio content that includes a voice sample. The audio processing system analyzes the voice sample to identify a sound type in the voice sample. The sound type corresponds to pronunciation of at least one specified character in the voice sample. The audio processing system generates a filtered voice sample at least in part by filtering the voice sample to modify the sound type. The audio processing system outputs the filtered voice sample.

Abstract: When a head-mounted display acquires data of a display image generated on the basis of position/posture information of a head of a user at time and given a distortion corresponding to the distortion of an eyepiece lens, the head-mounted display corrects the image on the basis of position/posture information of the head at time t for display. Then, the head-mounted display corrects chromatic aberrations on the basis of actual distortion coefficients of the lens, and outputs the image to a display panel.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automated visual trigger profiling and detection within virtual environments are provided. A visual trigger profile may be stored in memory that includes a set of visual trigger characteristics associated with a type of visual sensitivity. Buffered frames of an audiovisual stream that have not yet been displayed may be monitored to identify when a buffered frame includes a threshold level of the visual trigger characteristics associated with the visual sensitivity. A frame modification that decreases the level of the detected visual trigger characteristics associated with the visual sensitivity may be identified and applied to the identified frames. The modified frames may thereafter be presented during the audiovisual stream in place of the original (unmodified) identified frames.

Abstract: A method of video evaluation for a video comprising successive video frames comprises the steps of, for successive video frame images: generating a perceptual hash of at least a first portion of a respective image, comparing the generated perceptual hash of a current video frame image with a corresponding perceptual hash of at least one preceding video frame image, and if a difference between the compared perceptual hashes exceeds a predetermined threshold, then identify the one preceding video frame as the boundary of a scene cut within the video.
