Abstract: A shelf locking device includes a body with forward and rearward facing surfaces. The rearward facing surface includes a first protrusion and a second protrusion. A lock member is pivotally coupled to the rearward facing surface of the body and includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion and the second portion each include a first protrusion engagement surface and a second protrusion engagement surface. In an unlocked position, the first protrusion engagement surface of the first portion engages the first protrusion of the body and the second protrusion engagement surface of the second portion engages the second protrusion of the body. In a locked position, the second protrusion engagement surface of the first portion engages the second protrusion of the body and the first protrusion engagement surface of the second portion engages the first protrusion of the body.

Abstract: A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device includes a base that defines a cavity extending from a first end of the base to a second end of the base. A holder is structured to engage the base. The holder includes an outer surface defining a plurality of channels terminating at a support surface and a holder groove defined on the outer surface of the holder. The security apparatus further includes a securing portion with a plurality of projections that are each structured to contact the support surface and engage one of the holder grooves. Rotation of the securing portion relative to the holder acts to move at least a portion of each of the plurality of projections into the holder channel and secure the securing portion to the holder, where the portable electronic device is secured between the securing portion and the holder.

Abstract: A security apparatus for a portable electronic device comprises at least one support member comprising opposing side surfaces and a plurality of support member surface features. At least one of the opposing side surfaces comprises a first engagement structure. One of the at least two arms comprises a second engagement structure configured to slidably engage the first engagement structure allowing movement in a first direction and opposing second direction. At least one locking assembly is positioned on at least one of the at least two arms and comprises a plurality of lock surface features configured to couple to the plurality of support member surface features. In a locked position, the at least one of the at least two arms is enabled to slide in the first direction. In an unlocked position, the at least one of the at least two arms is enabled to slide in the second direction.

Abstract: A mobile device management system and method. The mobile device includes a global positioning system (GPS) tracker for locating the mobile device. The method includes establishing a zone boundary defining a first zone and a second zone in a monitoring area using the GPS tracker, wherein the mobile device is maintained in a first operating mode when the mobile device is located in the first zone and a second operating mode when the mobile device is located in the second zone; sending one or more characteristics of the zone boundary to a management system; receiving at least one change to the one or more characteristics of the zone boundary from the management system; and upon the mobile device being located outside the first zone for longer than a predetermined time period, performing alert actions.

Abstract: A recoil security apparatus comprises a body extending along a body axis and comprising an inner surface. The inner surface defines a plurality of surface features and surrounds a shaft extending along the body axis. A first holder is supported by the body and a second holder supported by the body. A securing member comprises an outer surface and is configured to traverse the shaft and engage the plurality of surface features. The securing member connects to the first holder at a first end and to the second holder at a second end. Rotation of the securing member in a first direction causes one of the first holder and the second holder to move in a direction away from the body. Alternatively, rotation of the securing member in a second direction causes one of the first holder and the second holder to move in a direction toward the body.
