Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling content using a graphical object in a mobile terminal are provided, in which the user may create a graphical object on the screen through touch input and easily apply various actions such as copy, delete, move, transfer, attribute change and compress to content items by means of the created graphical object. The content control method includes: detecting a preset touch input; creating a graphical object at a region where the touch input is detected; determining a mode of the created graphical object; linking at least one content item on the screen with the graphical object; and controlling the content item linked therewith depending on the mode of the graphical object. Hence, the user can control a mobile terminal through touch inputs in a more convenient and intuitive manner, increasing user convenience.
Abstract:
A method for making a microelectronic assembly includes providing a microelectronic element with first conductive elements and a dielectric element with second conductive elements. At least some of either the first conductive elements or the second conductive elements may be conductive posts and other of the first or second conductive elements may include a bond metal disposed between some of the conductive posts. An underfill layer may overly some of the first or second conductive elements. At least one of the first conductive elements may be moved towards the other of the second conductive elements so that the posts pierce the underfill layer and at least deform the bond metal. The microelectronic element and the dielectric element can be heated to join them together. The height of the posts above the surface may be at least forty percent of a distance between surfaces of the microelectronic element and dielectric element.
Abstract:
An integrated air intake system may include an integrated body formed by combining a cylinder head cover at the top of an engine with an air cleaner body at a side of the cylinder head cover, an air duct connected to a side of the air cleaner body to make a channel for air sucked from the outside into the air cleaner body, an upper cover combined in contact with the air cleaner body at the top thereof, an intake hose connected to a side of the upper cover to supply purified air to an engine intake port, and an intake filter disposed in a space formed in the air cleaner body and the upper cover to purify the air sucked from the outside.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for displaying an alternative object while reproducing three-dimensional (3D) content. The method includes reproducing the 3D content; during the reproducing of the 3D content, detecting an interrupt signal; determining a maximum depth value of the 3D content in response to detecting of the interrupt signal; adjusting a depth value of the 3D content according to the maximum depth value; and controlling a 3D content reproducing apparatus to display the alternative object corresponding to the interrupt signal, wherein the alternative object overlaps the 3D content of which the depth value is adjusted.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a catalyst for xylene isomerization, including: a carrier including a zeolite, having a molar ratio of silica to alumina of 20˜100, impregnated with or mixed with a metal salt (I) having an amount of a metal component of 0.05˜5.0 wt % relative to a zeolite, and an inorganic binder, in which an amount of the zeolite is 10˜90 wt % based on the total amount of the carrier, wherein the carrier is supported with a VIII group metal such that an amount of the VIII group metal is 0.001˜3.0 wt % based on a total amount of the catalyst, or is supported with the VII group metal additionally supported with tin, bismuth or lead such that an amount of the tin, bismuth or lead is 0.01-5.0 wt % based on the total amount of the catalyst, and a method of producing the catalyst. The catalyst for xylene isomerization is advantageous in that, when xylene or C8 aromatic compounds are isomerized using the catalyst, the ethylbenzene conversion is increased while the xylene loss is decreased, compared to conventional technologies.
Abstract:
A condensed water discharge apparatus is capable of smoothly excreting residual condensed water in a muffler. The device may include a through hole formed at the bottom of a muffler case, an inflow pipe communicated to the muffler case and in which exhaust gas flows, an exhaust pipe communicated to the atmosphere so that exhaust gas is exhausted from the muffler case thereto, a thermoelement, and a control valve mounted at the through hole so as to selectively open/close the through hole when driving or stopped by sliding about the through hole.
Abstract:
A high-speed WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network) system for extending a service area includes an optical fiber serving as a medium for transmitting data; a plurality of pico-nets each including a plurality of devices and a PNC (Pico-Net Coordinator) device for managing the devices; a plurality of two-way signal converters corresponding to the pico-nets, each of the signal converters adapted for converting an optical signal received from the optical fiber into an electrical signal to transmit the electrical signal to the pico-nets, and for converting an electrical signal received from each of the pico-nets into an optical signal to transmit the optical signal to the optical fiber. A plurality of connectors are attached to the optical fiber and the signal converters for transmitting signals input from the optical fiber and the signal converters bidirectionally. One of the PNC devices provided in the pico-nets allocates and manages timeslots for all the devices located in the plurality of pico-nets, and the plurality of pico-nets may be operated as a single logical unit.
