A micro electro mechanical system switch and a method of fabricating the same. The micro electro mechanical system switch includes a substrate a plurality of signal lines formed at sides an upper surface of the substrate and including switching contact points and a plurality of immovable electrodes on the upper surface of the substrate and between the plurality of signal lines. An inner actuating member performs a seesaw based on a center of the substrate and together with an outer actuating member. Pushing rods are formed at ends of an upper surface of the inner actuating member with ends protruding from and overlapping with an upper portion of the outer actuating member. Contacting members are formed on a lower surface of the outer actuating member so as to be pushed by the pushing rods and contacting the switching contact points of the signal lines.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a long distance communication system using the ionosphere. The long distance communication system includes an Earth station for modulating a signal having a modulation frequency onto a carrier frequency signal, which is absorbable in the ionosphere, and radiating a modulation frequency signal to a specific region of the ionosphere. The signal transmitted from the Earth station converts a DC current into an AC current in the ionosphere and the AC current re-radiates the modulation frequency signal to the Earth.
Abstract:
A micro thin-film structure, a micro electro-mechanical system (MEMS) switch, and methods of fabricating them. The micro thin-film structure includes at least two thin-films having different properties and laminated in sequence to form an upper layer and a lower layer, wherein an interface between the upper and lower layers is formed to be oriented to at least two directions. The micro thin film structure, and method of forming, may be applied to a movable electrode of an MEMS switch. The thin-film structure may be formed by forming through-holes in the lower layer, and depositing the upper layer in the form of being engaged in the through-holes. Alternatively, the thin-film structure may be made by forming prominence and depression parts on the top side of the lower layer and then depositing the upper layer on the top side of the lower layer having the prominence and depression parts.

Provided is a method and apparatus for adaptively controlling the timing of servo pulses in a disk drive in consideration of the amount of spindle jitter generated when a disk rotation speed is changed. The method of controlling the timing of a sector pulse for write operation includes: measuring a spindle jitter value in a data write mode; generating a timing correction value of a sector pulse, which indicates a position of a sector where data is written, according to the measured spindle jitter value; and generating a sector pulse by reflecting the timing correction value of the sector pulse.

A lead frame for a semiconductor package and a method for manufacturing the lead frame. In the manufacture of the lead frame, a protective layer is formed with nickel (Ni) or Ni alloy on a metal substrate, an intermediate layer is then formed with palladium (Pd) or Pd alloy on the protective layer. Then, Pd and gold (Au) are alternately plated on the surface of the intermediate layer to form an outermost layer including both Pd and Au particles thereon.

The solar panel disassembling apparatus includes: a first fixing plate and a second fixing plate that hold both surfaces of the solar panel, respectively, in a state of having a distance from each other without coming into close contact with each other such that bond lines at a perimeter of the bonding surface are exposed: a moving unit that moves the first fixing plate and the second fixing plate in a parallel direction parallel to the bonding surface; and a wire-shaped cutting blade that is disposed in front of the solar panel in a movement direction of the solar panel to be parallel to the bonding surface and cuts the bonding surface, while passing through the bond line exposed toward the front between the first fixing plate and the second fixing plate.

A new use of exosomes extracted from mesenchymal stem cells derived from a healthy individual co-cultured with melatonin or a culture solution thereof, for the treatment of chronic kidney disease is disclosed. A pharmaceutical composition containing the exosomes extracted from mesenchymal stem cells derived from a healthy individual co-cultured with melatonin or a culture solution thereof as an active ingredient and a method for preparing the pharmaceutical composition are disclosed. The exosomes promote the proliferation of mesenchymal stem cells derived from a chronic kidney disease patient or increase the survival rate of the patient.

The solidifying method of the radionuclide includes operations of: providing a low melting point glass including Bi2O3, B2O3, ZnO and SiO2; providing a glass mixture mixing a mixture to be treated containing a hydroxide of radionuclide and BaSO4 and the low melting point glass; and heating the glass mixture.

Provided is an imaging lens. The imaging lens includes a first lens having a positive (+) power, a second lens having a positive (+) power, a third lens having a negative (−) power, and a fourth lens having a positive (+) power. The first lens, the second lens, the third lens, and the fourth lens are sequentially disposed from an object to transmit an image of light having a wavelength band of about 400 nm to about 1,000 nm. Thus, powers, distances, and Abbe's numbers of the first to fourth lenses may be controlled to photograph an image of visible light and infrared light.
