    摘要: A connector including two connector portions each including a ferrule and a latch, each latch including a distal end, and a proximal end, wherein the latch is pivotable about an intermediate connection portion; and a boot mounted to the connector portions, the boot movable longitudinally relative to the connector portions, wherein the boot causes the distal ends of the latch to pivot toward the ferrule of each connector portion as the boot is moved away from the connector portions. Front housings of the connector portions can each be rotated about the longitudinal axis of the ferrule without rotating the ferrule or the boot, to change the polarity of the two connector portions. The spacing between the two ferrules is adjustable. A holder holds the connector portions, the holder including side slots, the connector portions mounted to the holder by moving laterally to the side slots. The holder defines an area for receipt of a fiber optic cable when the ferrule is pushed in a direction toward the boot.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a fiber optic connector comprises: a ferrule assembly; a spring seat provided behind the ferrule assembly; and a spring provided between the ferrule assembly and the spring seat. The spring seat has a receiving chamber having an insertion port through which a portion of the ferrule assembly is inserted into the receiving chamber; wherein the ferrule assembly is pre-assembled into the receiving chamber of the spring seat in a way that the ferrule assembly is held to be movably engaged with the spring seat. The to spring is fitted and compressed in the receiving chamber. As a result, the ferrule assembly, the spring seat and the spring are pre-assembled into an integral assembly before being inserting into a connector housing. All components of the connector except for the housing may be smoothly pulled through a small long pipe as a whole. After being pulled through the pipe, all components of the connector except for the housing may be easily and quickly inserted into the housing as a whole at one time.

    摘要: The present invention discloses an optical cable fan-out device, used for dividing a single main optical cable into a plurality of branch optical cables. Wherein said optical cable fan-out device comprises of housing, said housing possessing a first end, and a second end opposite said first end. Said main optical cable is introduced into said housing via said first end, and said plurality of branch optical cables are led out from said second end of said housing. Wherein, a branch cable protective component is provided on the second end of said housing, said branch cable protective component possessing a trumpet shaped opening that widens gradually outwards, said plurality of branch optical cables being led out to the exterior of said housing via said trumpet shaped opening. In the present invention, when the branch optical cables are subjected to a lateral tension, the branch optical cables come into contact with the arc-shaped inner surface of the trumpet shaped opening and are uniformly stressed and smoothly bent along the arc-shaped inner surface, without excessive bending occurring; the outcome of this is that, it is possible to effectively prevent damage to the branch optical cables due to lateral tension, without increasing the cost of the optical cable fan-out device.

    摘要: The present invention discloses an optical fibre connector, comprising: a housing, a ferrule installed within said housing; an end sleeve, connecting to the rear end of said housing; and an optical cable clamp, installed by insertion within said end sleeve, being provided for the purpose of clamping an optical cable. Said optical cable is secured within said optical cable clamp, and after said optical cable clamp is inserted and secured within said end sleeve, the optical fibre of said optical cable is inserted within said housing and butt-joined with the embedded optical fibre within said ferrule. As a result of this, before the butt-joined optical fibres are locked in, the optical cable has already been secured within the optical cable clamp and fixed to the connector housing. Therefore, the butt-joined optical fibres cannot be separated due to the effects of unexpected pulling force, thus ensuring the optical fibre of the optical cable reliably abuts the embedded optical fibre.
