Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Some aspects relate to transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states associated with different operating states of a network node. Some aspects more specifically relate to a TCI state that includes an indication of an associated operating state of the network node. In some aspects, a UE may apply the TCI state during a time interval that is associated with the operating state. For example, the UE may receive an indication that a time interval is associated with the operating state of the network node. The UE may identify an operating state associated with a current time interval and may apply a corresponding TCI state that is associated with the operating state.
