Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive a resource allocation indicating a plurality of transmission tones comprising a subset of data tones of a plurality of data tones and a subset of peak reduction tones (PRTs) of a plurality of PRTs, wherein the resource allocation indicates locations for the plurality of data tones and locations for the plurality of PRTs within a particular bandwidth, wherein the locations for the plurality of PRTs are arranged relative to the locations for the plurality of data tones according to a PRT subsequence of a universal PRT sequence, and wherein the PRT subsequence corresponds to a sub-band of the particular bandwidth; and transmit a data transmission using a waveform based at least in part on the resource allocation. Abstract: A base station performs joint channel estimation for a set of physical uplink control channels (PUCCHs), where one or more PUCCHs of the set of PUCCHs comprises a corresponding DMRS from a user equipment (UE). The UE receives an indication to transmit the set of PUCCHs, one or more PUCCHs of the set of PUCCHs comprising a DMRS from the base station. The base station transmits, and the UE receives, spatial filter or power control information elements for each PUCCH of the set of PUCCHs. The UE transmits the PUCCHs comprising corresponding DMRS based on a same spatial filter with a same power control parameters, spatial filter or power control information element for a first PUCCH of the set of PUCCHs indicating the same spatial filter or same power control parameter, the set of PUCCHs having phase continuity.

Abstract: A base station performs joint channel estimation for a set of physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs) with bundled DMRS from a user equipment (UE). The UE receives an indication to transmit the set of PUSCHs, each PUSCH of the set of PUSCHs comprising a corresponding DMRS from the base station. The base station transmits, and the UE receives, a sounding reference signal resource indicator for each PUSCH of the set of PUSCHs. The UE transmits the PUSCHs based on a same sounding reference single resource, the SRI for a first PUSCH of the set of PUSCHs indicating the same SRS resource.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a transmitting device may transmit a reference signal indicating a first service type supported by the transmitting device and a receiving device may receive the reference and determine whether to measure a signal strength associated with the reference signal based on determining whether the first service type supported by the transmitting device and a second service type supported by the receiving device are a same service type. For example, the receiving device may measure the reference signal if the first service type indicated by the reference signal and the second service type supported by the receiving device are the same service type. Alternatively, the receiving device may refrain from measuring the reference signal if the first service type indicated by the reference signal and the second service type supported by the receiving device are different service types.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for beam management for make-before-break (MBB) handover. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes establishing a first cell connection with a first base station (BS) while maintaining an existing second cell connection with a second BS, and determining that a first transmission time of a first signal transmitted by the first BS is less than a threshold time duration from a second transmission time of a second signal transmitted by the second BS. In some examples, the first signal is associated with one or more first communication metrics and the second signal is associated with one or more second communication metrics, wherein each of the one or more first communication metrics and the one or more second communication metrics comprise one or more quality of service (QoS) metrics.

The method may further include adjusting a quantity of bits associated with a field of the physical channel based at least in part on the selected frequency range.

The UE may be transmitted an indication of the updated set of monitoring occasions while the UE is in the inactive mode or the idle mode. The indication for the updated set of monitoring occasions may be sent via paging or system information messages.
