    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a first transmit-receive point (TRP), a first channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) associated with the first TRP and a first beam. The UE may receive, from the first TRP or a second TRP, a second CSI-RS associated with the first TRP or the second TRP, wherein the second CSI-RS is associated with a second beam. The UE may transmit, to the first TRP or the second TRP, an indication of a delta value between a measurement of the first CSI-RS and a measurement of the second CSI-RS.     Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may obtain high-priority data (e.g., low latency data) to be transmitted to a base station. In some scenarios, the base station may be transmitting downlink transmissions to the UE or to a different UE, or may be receiving uplink transmissions from the UE or from the different UE. The described aspects enable the UE to timely transmit the high-priority data in these scenarios. In one example, the described aspects enable the UE to transmit, to the base station, while the base station performs one or more scheduled downlink transmissions to the UE or to the different UE, at least one of the high-priority data via a first uplink beam from a set of uplink beams for unscheduled uplink transmissions or an unscheduled data indication indicating that the high-priority data is to be transmitted without an uplink grant.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reporting and responding to beam failure events based on a receiving cell restriction rule. An example method includes detecting an occurrence of a threshold number of beam failures for a connection between the UE and a set of cells; identifying a candidate beam for restoring the connection between the UE and the set of cells in response to detecting the occurrence of the threshold number of beam failures; transmitting, to one or more cells in the set of cells, a beam failure recovery (BFR) request including an identification of the candidate beam; receiving, from a cell in the set of cells, a BFR response in response to transmitting the BFR request, wherein the BFR response is received according to a restriction rule; and resuming communications with the set of cells based on the BFR response.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining application time for a path loss reference signal (PL RS) by a user equipment (UE). A method that may be performed by a UE includes receiving an indication of activation of a PL RS. The method further includes transmitting an acknowledgement for the indication. The method further includes measuring samples of the PL RS for a number of samples after transmitting the acknowledgement prior to utilizing the measured samples of the PL RS for uplink power control. The method further includes utilizing the measured samples of the PL RS for uplink power control after measuring at least the number of samples of the PL RS. The number of samples varies based on one or more factors.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for reporting, from a user equipment (UE), beam failure recovery (BFR) information for multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs) via a BFR medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) in multi-TRP deployment scenarios. In some aspects, the UE may monitor a beam failure status for each of a first TRP and a second TRP and may transmit a BFR MAC-CE if the UE detects a beam failure for the first TRP or the second TRP. The UE may include, in the BFR MAC-CE, a status indicator field that indicates the beam failure status for each of the first TRP and the second TRP and whether a candidate reference signal is reported for identified TRPs of the first TRP and the second TRP for which a beam failure is detected.
