Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from one or more base stations, scheduling information for a multi-beam communication using a set of beams between the UE and the one or more base stations. The UE may perform, with the one or more base stations, the multi-beam communication based at least in part on: receiver assistance information for one or more beams in the set of beams associated with the multi-beam communication, and a policy to fulfil a grant according to the scheduling information, partially fulfil the grant according to the scheduling information, or not fulfil the grant according to the scheduling information using the receiver assistance information. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an uplink power control configuration for a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set associated with an uplink component carrier, wherein the uplink power control configuration configures separate power control adjustment states between SRS transmissions and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions, and wherein the uplink power control configuration indicates one of a first SRS power control adjustment state or a second SRS power control adjustment state. The UE may transmit, to the base station, an SRS based at least in part on the uplink power control configuration for the SRS resource set. Numerous other aspects are described.

The described techniques provide for joint hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for sidelink transmissions and downlink transmissions. In some examples, a base station may transmit control signaling to a user equipment (UE) indicating a configuration for a joint HARQ codebook. The UE may receive a set of sidelink transmissions and a set of downlink transmissions, generate a joint HARQ codebook based on a downlink counter (e.g., a counter downlink assignment index) for the downlink transmissions and a sidelink counter (e.g., a counter sidelink assignment index) for the sidelink transmissions, where the downlink counter and the sidelink counter are jointly summed, and transmit feedback message to the base station for the downlink transmissions and the sidelink transmissions based on the joint HARQ codebook.
