Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), including receiving, from a network entity, one or more parameters for performing interference prediction at the UE; predicting, for each of at least one communications resource, a predicted interference at the UE, wherein the predicted interference comprises a plurality of probability values, each probability value of the plurality of probability values being associated with a different class of a plurality of classes, each class of the plurality of classes associated with a corresponding range of interference power; and sending, to the network entity, a report based on the predicted interference.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured with a set of parameters to determine a valid timing advance (TA) to transmit data using preconfigured uplink resources (PUR) during an idle or inactive mode. In some cases, the parameters are one or more TA commands and one or more conditions associated with each TA command. The UE may identify the current condition of the UE and determine whether the current condition of the UE matches one of indicated conditions. The UE may select a TA command based on finding a match and use the TA command to transmit an uplink PUR transmission. Additionally or alternatively, the parameters may be neural network parameters that indicate a neural network model that the UE may use to determine a TA command associated with a valid TA based on the current condition of the UE.

Abstract: A protocol stack architecture for processing machine learning (ML) data includes a ML layer to manage ML data communication with a network device. The ML layer is coupled to multiple ML training blocks, and ML and inference blocks for multiple neural networks, and an analog data communications stack coupled to the ML layer. The analog data communications stack has an upper media access control analog (MAC-A) layer coupled to the ML layer and configured to store data for each neural network, a lower MAC-A layer coupled to the upper MAC-A layer and configured to segment and reassemble analog ML data, and an analog physical layer coupled to the lower MAC-A layer and configured to communicate analog data with the network device. The architecture includes a digital data communications stack coupled to the ML layer and the lower MAC-A layer and configured to manage digital communications with the network device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for hierarchical communications and low latency support within a wireless communications system. An eNB and/or a UE may be configured to operate within the wireless communications system which is at least partially defined through a first layer with first layer transmissions having a first subframe type and a second layer with second layer transmissions having a second subframe type. The first subframe type may have a first round trip time (RTT) between transmission and acknowledgment of receipt of the transmission, and the second layer may have a second RTT that is less than the first RTT. Subframes of the first subframe type may be multiplexed with subframes of the second subframe type, such as through time division multiplexing. In some examples symbols of different duration may be multiplexed such that different symbol durations coexist.
