Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may utilize multi-port mobility reference signals to assist with spatial based mobility procedures. The UE may receive a reference signal that is associated with multiple antenna ports. The UE may measure a multi-dimensional channel response based on the reference signal. The multi-dimensional channel response may be associated with measured channel metrics corresponding to the multiple antenna ports. The UE may transmit a report that includes a channel measurement vector based on the multi-dimensional channel response. The channel measurement vector may indicate multiple measured channel metrics for one or more dimensions of the multi-dimensional channel response. The network entity may transmit a message that indicates one or more metrics associated with mobility management for the UE based on the report that indicates the channel measurement vector.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described related to a slot format for low latency sidelink communications. A group of user equipments (UEs) may receive an indication of a configuration of a sidelink resource pool. The sidelink resource pool may include one or more slots and one or more subchannels, and a slot of the sidelink resource pool may include a control region allocated for a sidelink control channel and a set of contiguous subslots each allocated for a sidelink data channel. A first UE may transmit sidelink control information (SCI) to a second UE in the control region of a slot to reserve one or more subslot of the same slot or any quantity of different slots for a sidelink message. The first UE may transmit the sidelink message to the second UE in the subslot.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to power reduction measures that can be employed by wireless user equipment (UE) participating in an extended reality (XR) application. A wireless UE, while operating in a first power state, may receive, from an XR service provider, a plurality of packets corresponding to a video frame. The UE may reassemble and decode the received packets to reproduce the video frame. Once the UE determines it has received information sufficient to reproduce the video frame, the UE may enter a second power state, different from the first power state, for a predetermined amount of time. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a configuration of multiple resource patterns for one or more user equipments (UEs) to use for transmission of sidelink signals over a quantity of transmission time intervals (TTIs) (e.g., sub-slots) within a slot. For example, a UE may determine a resource pattern to use for transmitting sidelink signals based on an assignment from a network entity, an initial frequency offset, information included in control signaling, or any combination thereof. In some examples, the UE may transmit, via the sidelink channel, an indication of the resource pattern used by the UE, such that other UEs in the system may determine the resource pattern used by the UE. The UE may transmit a sidelink signal in accordance with the resource pattern, while other UEs may use other resource patterns for sidelink transmissions within the same slot.
