Abstract: Systems and methods for updating an Operating System (OS) using cloud-based resources are described. A server computing system enables an auto-scaling group (ASG) to launch one or more instances based on a first machine image. The first machine image associated with a first Operating System (OS). The ASG is associated with a stateful service and configured with a resource tag having a value similar to a value assigned to the stateful service. The computer system receives a second machine image associated with a second OS generated based on the first OS. The computer system enables the ASG to terminate the one or more instances launched based on the first machine image and to launch one or more instances based on the second machine image. The instances launched based on the first machine image and based on the second machine image are associated with persistent volumes.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to automatically synthesizing user interface (UI) component instances. In disclosed techniques a computer system receives a set of existing UI elements and a set of design rules for the set of existing elements, where design rules in the set of design rules indicate one or more allowed states for respective UI elements in the set of existing UI elements. The one or more allowed states may correspond to one or more visual characteristics. Using the set of existing UI elements, the computer system may then automatically generate a plurality of UI component instances based on the set of design rules, where a respective UI component instance includes a first UI element in a first allowed state. The computer system may then train, using the plurality of UI component instances, a machine learning model operable to automatically generate UI designs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices supporting determining user and data record relationships based on vector space embeddings are described. Some database systems may receive data record access indications corresponding to data records accessed by users. A database system may generate, based on the data record access indications, user sessions for the users, data record sessions for the data records, or a combination for users and data records. For example, a user session may correspond to a respective user and include a record identifier associated with each data record accessed by the user. The system may generate, in a vector space, vectors from the sessions using an embedding operation, where each vector corresponds to a respective user or data record. The system may determine relationships between the users, data records, or both based on the vectors and may transmit an indication of at least one data record based on the relationships.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for facilitating intelligent data-loading for management of data in database systems according to one embodiment. In one embodiment and by way of example, a method includes identifying data records to be inserted into a database; converting the data records into data files, wherein the data files include comma-separated values (csv) files, and wherein each data file includes one or more data records; sorting the data files based on one or more dependencies associated with the data files, wherein sorting includes generating a dependency graph of the data files; and inserting the data records into the database by uploading, based on the dependency graph, one or more of the sorted data files into the database.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for facilitating dynamic selection and application for rules for query processing for large datasets in an on-demand services environment according to one embodiment. In one embodiment and by way of example, a method comprises determining processing patterns of a query based on historical performances associated with the query placed on behalf of a tenant in a multi-tenant environment, and dynamically applying one or more rules to the query for processing of the query within a predictable amount of time, where the one or more rules are dynamically selected from sets of rules based on the processing patterns. The method may further include executing the query based on the one or more rules by scanning one or more portions of a database having contents pertinent to the query and generating results by processing the query based on the contents and within the predictable amount of time.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments are related to blockchain asset token management systems, and in particular, to Multiple Decentralized Tokenization with Personal Control (MDTPC). MDTPC allows users to determine how and when asset token evaluation is performed, and also allows users to determine which token management services they wish to use to manage and store their asset token and related data. In embodiments, multiple blockchain token management services are utilized in conjunction with individual digital wallets to share token data and validate ownership of tokens. A registry service is used to ensure visibility of tokens across multiple token management services, which increases the likelihood of identifying the rightful owner of asset tokens. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract: Approaches for the translation of structured text include an embedding module for encoding and embedding source text in a first language, an encoder for encoding output of the embedding module, a decoder for iteratively decoding output of the encoder based on generated tokens in translated text from previous iterations, a beam module for constraining output of the decoder with respect to possible embedded tags to include in the translated text for a current iteration using a beam search, and a layer for selecting a token to be included in the translated text for the current iteration. The translated text is in a second language different from the first language. In some embodiments, the approach further includes scoring and pointer modules for selecting the token based on the output of the beam module or copied from the source text or reference text from a training pair best matching the source text.
