Abstract: Disclosed is a system for simultaneously measuring a surface normal vector and a surface reflection function in microscale. The system includes a light dome having a hemispherical-shaped structure and including LEDs to radiate light to an object placed therein; a macro lens installed camera arranged over the light dome to photograph the object through a hole formed at a center of the light dome under an environment in which a light is radiated from the light dome; an xyz micro-translation stage arranged under the light dome and configured to move in xyz-directions to adjust a focal distance between the macro lens installed camera and the object, and a measurement unit configured to control the light dome and the macro lens installed camera to obtain a microscale image, and configured to simultaneously measure a surface normal vector and a surface reflection function of the object based on the microscale image.

Abstract: The inventive concepts relate to a member for a gas sensor, a gas sensor using the same and a manufacturing method thereof, and more particularly, to a member for a gas sensor using a one-dimensional metal oxide nanofiber complex material containing hetero nanoparticle catalysts synthesized using apo-ferritins, a gas sensor using the same, and a manufacturing method thereof.According to embodiments of the inventive concepts, apo-ferritins containing hetero nanoparticle catalysts are mixed with an electrospinning solution, the mixture solution is electrospun to form complex nanofibers, and then a high-temperature thermal treatment process is performed to remove the apo-ferritins. Thus, the hetero nanoparticle catalysts are uniformly fastened to an inside and a surface of one-dimensional metal oxide nanofibers to form a member for a gas sensor. As a result, the member for a gas sensor has a high-sensitivity characteristic capable of sensing a very small amount of a gas and excellent selectivity capable of sensing various gases. In addition, a catalyst effect is maximized by the hetero nanoparticle catalysts uniformly distributed without aggregation. Furthermore, the member for a gas sensor and the gas sensor using the same can be mass-produced by a process method capable of effectively forming pores and of fastening high-performance catalysts.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for digital-analog hybrid beamforming in a millimeter wave downlink channel. A hybrid beamforming method in a downlink channel with respect to at least one user terminal belonging to a transmission apparatus includes receiving feedback information from each of the at least one user terminal; selecting at least one user terminal for transmitting a transmission signal based on the received feedback information; performing digital beamforming with respect to the selected at least one user terminal; and performing analog beamforming with respect to the selected at least one user terminal based on a prestored codebook. The codebook includes a desired number of subsets calculated based on a number of transmit antennas and a number of radio frequency (RF) chains, and each of the subsets includes a number of beamforming vectors corresponding to the number of RF chains.
