Abstract: A UE may receive, from a base station/TRP, a configuration for a beam pair including an UL beam and a DL beam and transmit a RACH message via the UL beam while receiving DL information via the DL beam. The UE and/or the base station/TRP may be configured to operate in a FD mode. In aspects, the UE may transmit a RACH preamble based on a first mode of transmission. After a threshold time delay measured from the transmission of the RACH preamble, the UE may retransmit the RACH preamble based on a second mode of transmission. The second mode of transmission may be a same mode of transmission or a different mode of transmission from the first mode of transmission. Each mode of transmission may be based on one or more of TDM, FDM, or SDM.

Abstract: Method and apparatus to rewrite BAP headers in IAB networks. The apparatus receives, from a second base station, a routing configuration indicating a mapping between a first routing ID and a second routing ID. The apparatus receives a packet with a packet header indicating the first routing ID. The apparatus determines the second routing ID based on the routing configuration mapping the first routing ID in the packet header to the second routing ID. The apparatus modifies, based on a determination of the second routing ID, the packet header to replace the first routing ID with the second routing ID. The apparatus transmits the packet based on the second routing ID.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus of a first network node are provided. The first network node may send quality of service (QoS) information and a request to a second network node to configure, based on the QoS information, a backhaul routing path for traffic between the first network node and a third network node via the second network node, the third network node having a signaling connection with the first network node. The first network node may communicate, with the second network node in response to the request, QoS mapping information. The first network node may configure an Internet protocol (IP) header of an IP packet based on the communicated QoS mapping information. The first network node may send the IP packet with the configured header to the second network node for routing through the backhaul routing path.

PER-CHILD RESOURCE CONFIGURATION ALLOCATION IN AN INTEGRATED ACCESS AND BACKHAUL (IAB) SYSTEM

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to resource allocation in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) system. A central unit (CU) transmits over a backhaul link a message to a distributed unit (DU) including a resource configuration for a DU cell and a child cell corresponding to a child node served by the DU cell. The DU determines that the message misidentifies the child cell using an ID of a different cell. In response to that determination, the DU communicates with the child node based on the resource configuration specific to the misidentified child cell. Using this coordinated technique enables the CU to provide the DU with a child-node specific resource configuration to enable the DU to use this configuration for communicating with the child node. This maximizes efficiency in multi-node communications between one or more child nodes and cells while adding minimal, if any, signaling overhead.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may determine, for full-duplex mode communication on a first link and a second link, a timing adjustment to at least one of a first timing or a second timing, wherein the timing adjustment is to cause a delay between clutter reflection from a first signal and an occurrence of a second signal to occur during a cyclic prefix of the second signal; cause the timing adjustment to be applied to the at least one of the first timing or the second timing; and communicate in the full-duplex mode with a first node and a second node in accordance with the timing adjustment, wherein communicating includes transmitting the first signal to the first node and receiving the second signal from the second node. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless forwarding node may determine a first timing reference configuration for communicating with a first wireless node. The wireless forwarding node may determine a second timing reference configuration for communicating with a second wireless node. The wireless forwarding node may forward communications between the first wireless node and the second wireless node based at least in part on the first timing reference configuration and the second timing reference configuration. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating a programmable smart repeater with in-band control are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a repeater includes establishing a control link with a control node and receiving, via the control link, a configuration of one or more parameters of the repeater to forward communication between a first wireless device and a second wireless device. The example method also includes transitioning an MT component of the repeater to a power saving mode for at least a period of time after receiving the configuration and forwarding the communication between the first wireless device and the second wireless device based on the one or more parameters in the configuration. The disclosed techniques may enable reduction in control signaling between the control node and the repeater to provide power savings for the MT of the repeater and lower signal overhead for the control node.

Abstract: Method and apparatus to allow a UE to request termination of an FD operation based on a timing different of uplink reception timing and downlink reception timing. The apparatus communicates with at least one TRP in a full duplex operation. The apparatus measures a timing difference of an uplink reception timing and a downlink reception timing of the full duplex operation. The apparatus transmits, to the at least one TRP, a request to terminate the full duplex operation based at least on the timing difference.
