    Abstract: Signaling design for interlaced frequency divisional multiplex (IFDM) demodulation reference signals (DMRS) is discussed in which a dynamic indication is provided to a user equipment (UE) from a serving base station that allows the UE to configure transmission of DMRS according to either a single carrier frequency divisional multiplex (SC-FDM) or IFDM configurations, as indicated by the dynamic indication. The IFDM configuration may be applicable to either regular uplink subframes or within the uplink portion of special subframes. In some aspects, power boosting may be provided for the DMRS in order to equalize transmit power between decimated DMRS transmitted with the data tones. Additional aspects may also provide for different offsets to be used depending on the type of uplink control signal transmitted.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) receive a first control format indicator (CFI) value in a message that is not carried via a physical control format indicator channel (PCFICH); may determine whether the UE is operating using at least one of a first configuration with which the first CFI value is to be used or a second configuration with which a second CFI value, indicated in the PCFICH, is to be used; and may operate using at least one of the first CFI value or the second CFI value based at least in part on determining whether the UE is operating using the at least one of the first configuration or the second configuration.     Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a transmit power control (TPC) command, associated with the UE, based at least in part on group power control downlink control information (DCI); and determine a loop index associated with the TPC command, wherein the loop index identifies a power control loop, of a plurality of power control loops, for the TPC command. In some aspects, the UE may apply the TPC in association with transmitting an uplink communication, wherein a time gap between receiving the group power control DCI and applying the TPC command is based at least in part on a capability value associated with the UE, or a delay value signaled to the UE.     Abstract: Various devices, methods, and processes are provided for handling conflicting and/or redundant power control and triggering information for transmitting reference signal(s) such as sounding reference signal (SRS) using carrier aggregation (CA). A user equipment (UE) receives a first downlink control information (DCI) and a second DCI including SRS control information that is in conflict with that of the first DCI, for controlling SRS transmission on a component carrier (CC). The UE determines a resolution to reconcile the conflict between the DCIs. Then the UE can transmit an SRS on the CC in accordance with the resolution.
