    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A non-terrestrial network (NTN) device (e.g., a satellite, base station) may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), at a first frequency a synchronization signal block (SSB) that indicates a second frequency of a control resource set (CORESET) relative to the SSB, where the second frequency is based on one or more of: a CORESET bandwidth, a combination of a first parameter associated with a first portion of the SSB and a second parameter associated with a second portion of the SSB, or both. The UE may monitor the CORESET at the indicated second frequency for a downlink control channel transmission. The NTN device may transmit, to the UE, a downlink control channel transmission over the CORESET. The NTN device may transmit, to the UE, system information based on the downlink control channel transmission.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for a dormancy indication inside of a discontinuous reception (DRX) active time. The apparatus receives a configuration of a DRX operation. The apparatus receives a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) during a DRX on duration based on the configuration of the DRX operation. The PDCCH comprises downlink control information (DCI) comprising an indication indicating one or more parameters associated with a cell within a group of cells to be active during the DRX on duration. The one or more parameters comprise at least one of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state or a control resource set (CORESET) index.

The UE may identify that a first security key identifier is associated with one or more channels to be used for communications between the UE and the base station. In some cases, the UE may receive a control message that schedules communications via the one or more channels. The first security key identifier may be associated with a first security key of the set of security keys. The UE may communicate with the base station using the first security key. The communications with the base station may be secured using the first security key.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for duplex switching based on network power modes. A UE may receive a first indication that a first power mode of a network entity is associated with a first duplex type for the network entity and a second power mode of the network entity is associated with a second duplex type for the network entity. The first duplex type and the second duplex type may correspond to at least one of full-duplex communication or half-duplex communication. The UE may receive a second indication of a switch from the first power mode associated with the first duplex type to the second power mode associated with the second duplex type and communicate with the network entity based on the second power mode and the second duplex type for the network entity.
