Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to an apparatus and method for wireless communication. The apparatus receives downlink control information (DCI) or a radio resource control (RRC) message indicating a configuration of an uplink burst region of a downlink-centric slot, the configuration allocating resources within the uplink burst region between a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) or uplink control information (UCI). The PUSCH is multiplexed with at least one of the PUCCH or the UCI in the uplink burst region. The apparatus further generates a feedback signal (e.g., Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) acknowledgement (ACK)) corresponding to a downlink (e.g., TCP) data packet received from a scheduling entity and transmits the feedback signal to the scheduling entity via the PUSCH configured in the uplink burst region of the downlink-centric slot. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: A spatial multiplexing configuration may enable a user equipment (UE) to spatially multiplex two or more uplink channels of different types for simultaneous transmission. For example, a UE may receive an indication of a spatial multiplexing configuration from a base station. The UE may identify two or more uplink channels for simultaneous transmission on a same component carrier, where each uplink channel may be a different type. In such cases, the UE may spatially multiplex the two or more uplink channels on a same set of time/frequency resources on the component carrier in accordance with the spatial multiplexing configuration. The spatially multiplexed uplink channels may then be simultaneously transmitted by the UE on the set of resources, where the spatially multiplexed uplink channels may be simultaneously sent to the same base station or to different base stations. Additionally, different spatial parameters may be applied to each uplink channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit signaling to a user equipment (UE) indicating one or more resources for a relay data transmission and a priority scheme for the relay data transmission and a current data transmission. The priority scheme may indicate a priority value for the relay data transmission and the current data transmission. The UE may selectively transmit the relay data transmission, the current data transmission, or both based on the priority scheme. If the priority scheme indicates the current data transmission has a higher priority than the relay data transmission, then the UE may transmit the current data transmission using the resources. If the priority scheme indicates the current data transmission has a lower priority than the relay data transmission, then the UE may transmit the relay data transmission using the resources.

Abstract: Systems and method for configuring and providing uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing on physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions are disclosed. In embodiments, a base station configures and signals, to a user equipment (UE) a plurality of sets of beta-offset values to be used by the UE for multiplexing a UCI transmission of a first priority to a PUSCH transmission of a second priority. Each set of the plurality of sets of beta-offset values is configured based on the second priority of the PUSCH transmission. In embodiments, the UE determines whether the UCI transmission of the first priority is allowed to be multiplexed to the PUSCH transmission of the second priority, and multiplexes the UCI to the PUSCH when multiplexing of the UCI and PUSCH is allowed, using a beta-offset value from the plurality of sets of beta-offset values. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may configure a relay configuration for a set of user equipments (UEs). The relay configuration may include a set of first direction transmission opportunities and corresponding second direction transmission opportunities. The relay configuration may be activated or deactivated, such as on a packet-by-packet basis. When the relay configuration is activated, a first UE and one or more second UEs may sequentially transmit a packet using the first direction transmission opportunities so as to be receivable by the wireless device and each other. The relay process may continue, for example, until the wireless device successfully receives the packet. The wireless device may monitor the first direction transmission opportunities and transmit positive or negative acknowledgments during the second direction transmission opportunities to indicate whether it has successfully received the packet.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit or receive transmissions that are out of order in relation to received preceding downlink transmissions (or resource grants), where the transmissions may include different priorities or service types. For example, a UE may transmit feedback for received downlink data including different priorities or service types, where the feedback is sent in a different order than the order in which the data was received. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may send or receive transmissions for different priorities or service types in a different order than an order in which a respective grant was received for each transmission. In addition to transmissions including different priorities or service types being scheduled out-of-order, transmissions including the same priorities or service types may be scheduled based on the order in which preceding downlink transmissions (or resource grants) were received.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) on a plurality of antenna ports. The UE may transmit the SRS on one or more virtual antenna ports, the one or more virtual antenna ports being based at least in part on the plurality of antenna ports. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently transmitting uplink signals to a base station using shared antennas associated with different power classes. A first device may be in communications with a base station using local antennas and may identify a second device having auxiliary antennas available for transmitting uplink signals to the base station. The local and auxiliary antennas may be associated with different power classes, and the first device may transmit a message to a base station indicating that the first device is capable of transmitting using antennas associated with different power classes. The first device may then receive configurations from a base station of different transmit powers to transmit on the antennas associated with the different power classes, and the first device may transmit uplink signals to the base station in accordance with the different transmit power configurations.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for handling power transitions in transmissions in new radio (NR) devices. An exemplary method includes changing from using a first transmit power during a first portion of a transmission to a second transmit power during a second portion of the transmission, and taking action to mitigate a potential phase coherence loss associated with the changing from the first transmit power to the second transmit power.
