Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a base station, user equipment, and a measurement method for inter-base station carrier aggregation. The method includes: a primary base station of the UE sends a message include indication information to request the UE report a timing offset between the primary base station and a secondary base station of the UE; the secondary base station calculates a corrected measurement gap information according to a measurement gap information and the timing offset; the secondary base station stops scheduling the UE in a measurement gap period indicated by the corrected measurement gap information. In the embodiments of the present invention, the secondary base station does not schedule user equipment in a measurement gap period of the UE, which avoids waste of an air interface resource and improves the network transmission efficiency.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an information transmission method, a device, and a system. The method includes: determining, by UE, a type of a coverage area in which the UE is located, where the type of the coverage area is a first coverage area or a second coverage area; and receiving, by the UE by using a corresponding beam according to the type of the coverage area in which the UE is located, the broadcast information sent by the network device. Therefore, when the UE is covered in the different coverage areas, the broadcast information sent by the network device can be received, and this ensures normal communication between the UE and the network device.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention relates to a multimedia broadcast multicast communication method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: receiving, by a base station, first indication information at a first time, where the first indication information instructs the base station to suspend transmitting service data in a multimedia broadcast multicast service MBSFN manner; and sending, by the base station, second indication information to user equipment UE according to the first indication information, so that the UE suspends, at a second time according to the second indication information, receiving the service data in the MBSFN manner. The first time is earlier than the second time, and duration between the first time and the second time is less than a multicast control channel MCCH modification period. The user equipment is notified in a more timely manner to suspend transmitting the service data in the MBSFN manner.

The frequency range is one of N frequency ranges, wherein N≥2. The terminal device also receives characteristic information of the radio interface technology, which includes a subcarrier spacing. The terminal device transmits the service on the DRB within the frequency range using the subcarrier spacing of the radio interface technology.
