摘要: A disclosed method provides a structured definition for a distributed application comprising two or more component applications. The definition may identify each component and a component type, e.g. VM or container, collocation information indicative of collocation requirements for one or more of the components, and external dependency information indicating constraints the alternative environment must comply with. The distributed application may be deployed to one or more endpoints. Responsive to detecting a triggering event for evaluation of component relocation alternatives, disclosed methods may invoke a resource balancing engine to identify a viable alternative endpoint for one or more component applications. Responsive to identifying a viable alternative endpoint for a particular component application, disclosed methods may relocate the particular component application to the alternative endpoint. The distributed application may be an HV application including one or more VM components and one or more container components.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to managing services by a managed service provider (MSP) in a cloud based infrastructure. A control plane of the MSP is established in a first tenancy, and a first access plane of the MSP is established in a second tenancy of a cloud environment. The control plane is configured to manage a plurality of services offered by the MSP to a first host machine included in the second tenancy. A first request is transmitted from the control plane to the first access plane, where the first request is forwarded by the first access plane to the first host machine, and corresponds to a service utilized by the first host machine and managed by the control plane of the MSP. In response to the first request being validated, a first state of the first host machine is modified in the second tenancy based on the first request.

摘要: In a system, a load balancer transmits, to a selected content origin node, a first content request based on a first request for first requested content received from a client node, the selected content origin node transmits, to the load balancer, a first response to the first content request, wherein the selected content origin node has the first requested content, and the load balancer transmits, to the client node, a first redirect message identifying the selected content origin node as having the first requested content without transmitting the first requested content to the client node. In some implementations, the selected content origin node transmits the first redirect message as the first response. In other implementations, the first response from the selected content origin node contains the first requested content, and the load balancer converts the first response into the first redirect message.

摘要: Virtual network controllers are described that automatically generate policies and configuration data for routing traffic through physical network function (PNF) service chains in a multi-tenant data center. An example network controller includes a memory and processing circuitry configured to: automatically generate, for one or more integrated routing and bridging (IRB) units of corresponding virtual network forwarding tables of a switch of a switch fabric of a data center network, configuration information that, when deployed, causes the IRB units to direct data traffic conforming to multiple communication protocols and flowing over a plurality of virtual networks between a first set of server devices and a second set of server devices positioned outside of the switch fabric (i) toward a service device logically positioned outside of the switch fabric and coupled to the switch, and (ii) back from the service device into the switch fabric via the switch.

摘要: Methods and systems for processing communication systems are disclosed. A request for a communication session can be analyzed to determine a device or pool of devices to process the communication session. Data associated with the communication session, including session description data, can be analyzed using rules that associate types of data with corresponding processing devices. The rules can be based on levels of complexity associated with the data, and different pools of processing devices can be associated with different levels of complexity. Thus, communication sessions assigned a level of complexity can be matched with pools of devices associated with the same level of complexity.

摘要: A networked computer system enables a transaction to be executed securely. An initiator sends a service request to a control server. The control server creates a transaction server for the sole purpose of execution the transaction requested by the service request. Creating the transaction server includes: selecting an IP address randomly from a pool of IP addresses and assigning the selected IP address to the transaction server; creating a DNS entry including a randomly-constructed hostname; and associating the DNS entry with the selected IP address. If the transaction server pre-exists, it is made accessible in response to receiving the service request. The control server informs the initiator of the created transaction server. The initiator engages in the transaction with the transaction server, independently of the control server. The transaction server terminates upon completion of the transaction or the expiration of a timeout period.
