    摘要: A computerized method of managing a computer remote session operation, comprising providing a server for hosting application execution; configuring a number of predefined user accounts with low security permissions on said server, where said user accounts are not tied to any specific real user; Whenever a remote user requests to start a remote session, finding an available user account not currently in use on said computer, allocating it for the remote session and marking it as unavailable for subsequent session requests; Generating a one-time password for said user account; Communicating the assigned user account identifier and temporary password to client component on the user's side, either directly or through an intermediate broker; causing the client component to connect to the server using said user account identifier and temporary password; and, upon termination of the remote session, deleting the assigned user account's data and marking it as available again.

    摘要: A method for load balancing application requests across a multi-cluster container orchestration system includes receiving a load-balancing configuration for a multi-cluster service managing access to a set of destination clusters hosting a software application deployed by a user. The multi-cluster service uses the load-balancing configuration to load balance application level traffic across the set of destination clusters. Each destination cluster includes at least one container executing the software application and a respective geographical region. The method also includes receiving an application level request directed toward the software application hosted across the destination clusters. The application level request is received from a client and includes a host name and a geographical location associated with the client. The method also includes routing the request to one of the clusters based on the geographical location of the request and the respective geographical locations of the clusters.

    摘要: A system and method for configuring an intelligent electronic device (IED) from a plurality of IEDs connected in a communication network of a substation with a computing system includes a computing system communicatively connected in the communication network of the substation for transmitting a configuration of at least one application function to the IED for operating an electrical equipment in the substation. The method for configuring the IED comprises using a virtual model of the IED to generate the IED configurations through a simulation that involves a sequence prediction technique. The sequence prediction technique facilitates generating a sequence of functions arranged in an order and sequentially determining connections between at least one input and at least one output of the one or more functions that comprises the application function. The generated sequence of functions and sequence of connections constitute the IED configuration corresponding to a given application function.

    摘要: In example embodiments, techniques are described for implementing serverless property stores to hold properties that persist application customization data, such as settings. A serverless property store employs an “edge base” paradigm, wherein an edge computing device executes a property store service that maintains a local, periodically-synchronized copy of a portion of a database that stores properties (i.e., a local property cache”). A cloud container of a blob storage service of a cloud datacenter maintains a master copy of the database (i.e., a “property store database”). Read operations on a client computing device may be performed against the local property cache. Write operations may likewise be performed against the local property cache, however, they may be serialized via a write lock maintained in the cloud container. Multiple serverless property stores may be employed to store different properties each having different scopes.

    摘要: A wireless User Equipment (UE) hosts a microservice. In the wireless UE, a user interface presents user options to a user and receives user instructions from the user. Communication circuitry wirelessly transfers the user instructions to a microservice control system, and in response, wirelessly receives microservice instructions and a microservice application from the microservice control system. User circuitry in the wireless UE executes the microservice application in an operating system container per the microservice instructions and responsively generates microservice data for a microservice data system. The communication circuitry wirelessly transfers the microservice data to the microservice data system. This hosted microservices platform supports a variety of applications beyond smartphone owner usage. To that end, the smartphone owner may get financially compensated for those extra use cases according to a variety of factors. The owner will be in full control of selecting which functionality will run on his smartphone/UE.
